Wonderful Stay + Really enjoyed our stay. The room and bathroom were beautiful and very spacious. The service from our housekeeper was exceptional. The breakfast also had a really great variety and catered to all tastes. − At breakfast, the poached and fried eggs are left under a warmer, which dried them out. While I understand this is for convenience because it gets very busy, it affected the quality of the egg.

Once a great place now boring + I am a frequent visitor to al aqah and have always chosen Le Meridien for its exceptional facilities, very large rooms and great cuisine. The hotel has been renovated and is well taken care of, the pools are big and water is comfortable. Food is still amazing. − Surprisingly too many things this time were not up to the standard. To start with, the renovation is done beautifully, but lacking basic usability and logic. Bathroom extended taking the space from rooms. Bathroom light switch is only at the entrance or next to one side of the bed, good luck wondering in the dark trying to find toilet. Next, there is a glass wall between the bathroom and the bed. Does not make sense either for couple or families! Once the kids are asleep, there is no chance to use the bathroom as the light is too bright and the blind is not blackout. Finally, the pillows are super hard as rocks. We all left with stiff necks. I had issues with AC because the sensors on the window…

We expected a better experience at Le Meridian specially for a 5 Star rated resort + Breakfast was good. − We recently visited Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort in Abu Dhabi, a renowned five-star resort, and unfortunately, our experience with the hospitality and guest reception at this property was disappointing. In particular, in this resort the staff assigned to the reception and guest-welcoming area did not demonstrate the level of warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism that one would reasonably expect from a five-star property. The initial welcome is an important part of the guest experience, as it creates the first impression of the resort. Unfortunately, the manner in which we were received lacked genuine hospitality and did not make us feel particularly welcomed as guests. This was especially noticeable when compared with our experience at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, where we received an exceptional level of hospitality.
