Great place -will stay again. + Location, free parking and attractive room and food on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. − Being picky could benefit from better lighting and a bedside table in the room.

Expensive for the quality provided. Do expect a double bed in a double room + The property was very clean − It was a 3/4 bed not a double as advertised. The shower had been painted black and this was flaking off so unfortunately not a great experience when using

Staff and food excellent pub lovely, but accommodation needs improving. + Breakfast was excellent − The room was a bit on the small side. And not very comfortable no chairs for sitting.

Lovely pub, food great won’t stay again as I was frozen all night + It’s outside in carpark − Room was freezing cold and the door was really difficult to open, not good in an emergency situation

A clean, quiet and comfortable overnight stopover. + We were pleasantly surprised by the semi-rural village feel to the area, and loved hearing about the history of the pub and its surroundings. The converted stables provide very compact ensuite accommodation, squeezing in all the basic facilities you could wish for without making the room feel cramped. All very clean, comfortable and well presented. The cooked breakfast, which our host was happy to provide at a time to suit our needs, was simply wonderful. − I found the email communications pre-arrival somewhat confusing, particularly the request for photo ID, which it turns out is a hangover from the days of covid.

Great overnight stay + The staff were very friendly and helpful. All was very easy parking checking in and organising some food. Nice seating outside for a summer evening. Quiet overnight. Room clean andxwell organised. − The bedroom was small. We could have benefited from a better fan as it was very hot in the room so we had to open the door. Room needs a small fridge.
