Yet another 'boutique' style hotel that is a pseudonym for unmanaged and unloved. + I liked the location and area. The final room we ended up with was not bad, but for a while it didnt look like we were going to get any alternative room after rejecting the room selected for us. − The top floor room was like an oven on arrival, and we couldnt open any windows. Even the bathroom which had 3 non-opening windows. We telephoned the manager who informed us that the windows opened, but you will see from the photos they have been shut for years and are filthy. How you ever air a room after guests have stayed I just have no idea. It was obvious that the manager had never visited the hotel, but was telling me all about it whilst I was there! I could hear a man in the background saying ''put the phone down'. After persuasion we were offered another room on the first floor and were promised the windows open. We couldnt see it first and were told 4 times that it would cost more. This seemed to be …

Beautiful and therapeutic! + Stayed for one night for our anniversary, reservation team was amazing and provided us with their finest room, the free standing bath tub was beautiful, its a must have! Thank you guys for having us! − Cons: - TV could be better to support Netflix and movie browsing (youtube did not work) - Car park access gates can be a little tight if have a big vehicle - Neighbours or someone were smoking marijuana which the smell came into our room and disturbed our stay and sleep which led us to check out very early, we contacted the reservation team the next day for assistance but after investigation no resolution or action was taken unfortunately.

One night stay for business + Comfortable room with good aircon (it was very hot!). Didn't actually meet any staff as check in via codes etc. Nice coffee place just next door. − Top floor room had no windows to see out (only sky lights) which felt a little claustrophobic but didnt really spoil the stay.

Not a hotel + Location if fine − It is not a proper hotel, no reception, no staff. Just rooms each with own keylock. If you don't need anything other than a room than fine but not for me

Great place to stay.Very comfortable. + Beautifully decorated room with a wow!! Lovely building − Not too sure about not having a person in the building to help with problems but everything worked well from instructions. A bit expensive for no service

A pleasant stay in an historical building. The bakery and restaurant directly next to the property is a bonus! + Location and free parking. The bath tub supplied with bath salts was a nice surprise for a soak after a long day of travelling. I like the sky light. − No physical staff on site. Checked in and parking details could be sent a day or two earlier, rather than on the day of travel. I misread the room number and had trouble obtaining the room key from the safe. Eventually noticed my mistake whilst waiting to get through to customer service on the phone. No sound proof so could hear everything happening on next door!

Very nice hotel + Nice room, quiet street, several nice restaurants nearby, quiet and calm. − WiFi wasn’t the best, worked sometimes but not others. Self check in is fine but some prefer to speak to a person.
