Unreal and magical experience staying in the rainforest + This property and the staff were exceptional all around. Everything you may need was provided and the staff was always happy to accommodate requests- they even packed us our favorite hot sauce to bring home! Tour guides were exceptional.

Incredible Lapa Rios + Amazing 4-night stay at Lapa Rios, definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been to. The beautiful room, the view on the Pacifc ocean, the great food, the kindness and professionnalism of the staff, all the animals you can spot so close to you (monkeys, macau, toucans, frogs, etc.). The park of the hotel is a good before-taste of the almost nearby Corcovado national park not to be missed, with great guides − Had to leave after only 4 nights...

Unforgettable rainforest experience + Amazing, right in the forest with scarlet macaws, toucans and monkeys around you. The included activities add so much to the value. We chose a night hike through the forest (tree frogs, sleeping sloths, and a viper), a hike through primary forest, and two morning bird walks. We learned so much from the expert guides about the land and animals in this special place. We were hesitant to spend so much, but it was worth it. − It was wonderful. Couldn’t have been better.

Paradise Found – Lapa Rios is the Definition of Pura Vida + From the moment we stepped off the small plane in Puerto Jiménez, Lapa Rios was pure magic. Every detail exceeded expectations—from the warm welcome drinks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. The lodge blends seamlessly into the rainforest, with monkeys, scarlet macaws, and wildlife everywhere you look. The food was exceptional with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options (don't skip the brownie!). Highlights included the private beach setup with snacks, towels, and amazing guacamole, the unforgettable night walk, birdwatching tour, Osa Trail hike, waterfall, infinity pool overlooking the Pacific, and even releasing baby sea turtles. Rain or shine, every moment was unforgettable. This isn't just a luxury lodge—it's an authentic, immersive rainforest experience and one of the most incredible places we've ever stayed.
