Great walks amazing birdlife + O'RIELLYS is a magical place. One of those rare gems that are hard to find. I specifically went to walk the Border Track and was not disappointed. Another highlight at O'RIELLYS was the early morning bird walk. This was an excellent way to see the beauty and variety of the birds of the rainforest. There are a good range of accommodation options available.

We had a nice relaxing stay. + Location Cleanliness Friendly staff The staff knew the history of the place. Very knowledgeable. − We stayed in No.4 - couldn’t keep our car where we were staying, had to park up the street. The cafe didn’t do breakfast week days.

Great walking tracks and views + Staff were great, clean room. Great walking tracks and birds. − No place was open to get a coffee after 4pm. Not clear info on food availability. Glow worms, a bit underwhelming

A very relaxing nature reset + The villa was very well equipped. Appreciated the open plan as well as ensuites to both bedrooms. The kitchen very well equipped to enjoy our own meals. The beds were very comfortable with good pillows. The spa on the veranda was a highlight as was the gas fireplace. − Could not get the TV to work.

Relaxing, enjoyable stay + Spacious rooms with a big balcony. Had all the facilities needed for our stay. Very comfortable beds. The dimmer lights were really nice. Quiet environment with lots of nature/bird sounds. Heaps of windows that provide natural lighting. A crimson rosella greeted us at our balcony. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would visit again!

Will not return + Only liked food at the bar − We had to prepay everything from glass of wine to what you ate instead of booking it to your room. Also food quality in restaurant and cafe very poor and over priced

Unique experience in beautiful location + Location quaint old world charm − Other guests who monopolise spa and groups for bird walk need to be smaller 6-8 max

Beautiful location. + Location, activities and facilities. − Cafe didn’t offer breakfast as state in the App, staff checking us in left us to serve someone else who had a complaint.

Magical walks, sunsets and wildlife encounters. Shame about the food and ambience of the facilities. + The location is magnificent and the villa was very well appointed. - great hot tub and good kitchen and bathrooms. But the restaurant and rainforest cafe were outdated and the cafe in particular was depressing. The food was poor at the cafe - terrible Caesar salad with overcooked virtually desiccated chicken. Awful scone. Indifferent staff . The food at the restaurant was a bit better but very retro - everything was overcooked and over-salted - I felt as though I stepped into a restaurant from the 1970s - and not a good one. The location is magnificent but restaurant, cafe and food need to be brought into the 21st century. − See above
