We've stayed with Silkari before and we will return. + Great spacious room with privacy for us and our 3 adult/teenage kids. Friendly staff and good location. − Pool water was too cold for swimming. Bed was not made well at all and required me to remake it each time. TV remote did not work.

Wonderful stay and will be back soon! + Being able to access a swim out room − The fan in the bathroom was quite dusty and could do with a clean so it can prevent the growth of mould.

Great location - 5 mins drive from town. 5 min walk to beach . Comfortable and quiet + All of the staff we interacted with were fantastic. They were very welcoming and gave us heaps of information when we arrived. The communal areas were all fantastic, clean and well maintained. − I’m aware there is a Reno happening soon, our room is definitely in need of one. Very tired and in need of a deep clean , paint and replacement of the fridge which didn’t work. ( Staff did look at this straight away after mentioning). The swim out rooms on the left side don’t catch any sun so if booking I would recommend trying to get a room on the other side of the complex so you can make use of your sun loungers and pool.

Silkari Lagoons is fantastic + We stayed in a two bed apartment which was large and had full facilities including a laundry, we were close to Port Douglas Main Street, we had a swim out and it was nice and private and the pool was lovely. Jason Clow who does maintenance there was very informative and gave us great advice and anything we needed he would go out of his way to assist whilst keeping the place with his team amazing so thank you Jason. We also utilised the bbq area which was so well maintained. People including guests were friendly and relaxed which made it a great atmosphere. We loved our stay there thank you Silkari Lagoons. − Small thing… we stayed 10 days didn’t have a little dust pan to sweep up the debris after we swept the place, otherwise no complaints.

Spacious and comfortable + Very spacious, nice and clean apartment. Comfortable sleeping and sitting areas. Good kitchenette equipment and supply of tableware etc. Good location too within a 10min walk from the beach.

Amazing quiet spot with awesome pools + What an amazing property, swim out pool is a highlight and great friendly staff! Only 5 mins bus ride from center of town and 5 mins stroll to the beach. Will stay again for sure

Great location, friendly staff. + Friendly staff, easy to access rooms close enough to town. − The rooms feel dated and in need of an refresh I.e. Although the linen and towels were clean they were so thin in part from repeated washing that they were almost see-through.

A bit far out but a comfortable stay. + Swim out pool was great although our pool was not heated nor did we get any sun through the day. The bed was comfortable. Loved also the proximity to the beach for lovely morning walks. − Slimy shower floor.

Better than expected apartment stay + The very large 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, dining and balcony areas(actually thought we had only booked a one bedroom apt so pleasantly surprised. Good sized pool for swimming. BBQ facilities were great. − The pool on one side was always too cold as always in the shade.

Enjoyable stay with a few hickups. + We enjoyed our stay. Great staff and facilities etc. The hotel rooms are nice and roomy but will be in need of refurbishment fairly soon however. One annoying thing was the room phone. The phone didn't work. The illuminared clock on the phone did however, and it was annoyingly set hours away from the correct time. Two requests with reception to fix it, didn't get actioned. Not a "deal breaker" but annoying.
