Good functional hotel for working visit to Honiara + Comfortable clean room good for working out of, quiet overnight and decent pool for swimming − Bathroom needs upgrading and more cafe style food options would have been good

Relaxing and restorative. + Chilled atmosphere, nice views of the sunset (and the town and seafront below), friendly and helpful staff, good pool area, excellent massage available on site, comfortable bed and room with a lovely balcony, Wi-Fi generally worked fine, AC worked well, bar and restaurant with reasonable food and cold drinks. Good place to relax and unwind. Relatively short walk to some nearby sites including the American War Memorial (with good views) and the Central Market. − I was unfortunate to have had my watch stolen from inside my room while I was out. It wasn't an expensive watch but it had some emotional value. I left it out of the security box but hidden away, yet it was still found and taken. It's not the end of the world for me, its just a bit sad and this should not detract from the otherwise lovely staff and good vibes at the hotel. Hopefully this was an isolated incident and a good reminder to keep ALL valuables inside the safe. Other than that...the main poo…

I enjoy going there. Quirky, friendly and convenient for work in town. + The staff are so friendly. The facilities are ok, some of the fixtures are old and i had no hot water all week, but a cool shower is fine when it is so hot. the foos at Oasis restaurant is good. − Perhaps some hot water from time to time.

Relaxing room in a lush garden setting for a lovely and peaceful stay. + Everyone here is so kind and caring. I had an absolutely lovely stay. My room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony surrounded by trees and flowers and birds. The hotel itself also has a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a bar, and pool tables so there are plenty of things to do, but I was happy to enjoy the lush grounds and birds chirping and flitting about. You barely realize you are in the middle of the city (main road is just like 2 blocks from the bottom of the hotel's hill/driveway.) The wifi worked pretty well and the staff were pleasant and helpful. They gave me advice on things to do and see. Connected me with a great local rental car and called a site I was going to to check on logistics for me. They were always genuinely interested in how I was doing and what I had seen. The fish in coconut milk and the Sunday night dinner show buffet were the highlights of the restaurant's local cuisine for me. …
