We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a great location with excellent service. + The recently renovated room was very pleasant. It was a huge improvement. The room was well lit. The bed very comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent.

− Coffee machine didn’t work. When booking through Booking.com it was not clear that the children’s breakfast wasn’t included. This needs to have a * or similar next to ‘breakfast included in final price’.

+ Location, valet and reception staff. − Bar waitresses seemed more interested in yapping amongst each other than serving customers Went to the bar and was told to take a seat was provided water the. Left for 15 minutes causing us to walk out

Fabulous. Will be back. + The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. A good variety of breakfast options. − My husband and I sat in the lounge/bar downstairs. While staff were friendly, they were not paying attention to our table as we waited for a while to catch their attention to order a second drink. Also we ordered off the snack menu and our empty plates sat on our table waaay too long. We were ready to order more food and had to ask for them to be taken away. I felt everything else was great attention to detail, so made this stand out. Not a compliant, just an observation for future reference.

Enjoyable stay + I really enjoyed my stay at the InterContinental Wellington. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating with a request I made. The hotel is centrally located and very close to the shops and restaurants. The room was lovely, very lush with comfortable bedding and all the amenities you could need. The concierge staff were very helpful and were more than happy to assist me on a number of occasions. I’d recommend staying here for your stay in Wellington.
