A good stay + No one around at check in, someone did show up eventually. In my group there were rooms with Air conditioner and water heater break downs, all were rectified. No one replied my enquiry about the availability of breakfast before arrival but it turned out that the room rates include breakfast. We had Pho for 2 days, no complaints there. Location is fantastic, right in the middle of the small town, staff when around were friendly. They were around to collect room charges upon our check out 🤣. All in all, good place to stay. − Location, cleanliness

Fine base from which to explore the Plain of Jars + Large room with great view. Comfortable beds. Hot water. Market and places to eat nearby. Very central. ATM next door. − Room was cold at night as air could get in from gaps in window. Reception was often unmanned. Cash only but you could mix and match currencies.

Pleasant + Good location and the rooms are large. This is a very basic hotel with few amenities. − My second morning, there was no hot water. The staff spoke no English, but Google translate helped. Breakfast was a bit strange. They bring you a plate(I'm guessing based on your Asian or not)with no options. Also, the few others in the room were all smoking.
