+ We stayed for the Pacific Airshow and the view from the balcony was superb, also it's nice and warm as you are on the sunny side of the building. It was a last-minute booking so we got a very good rate. The apartment was very well equipped. − It would be good if they offered to split one of the king beds into 2, as it appeared that the bed was joined in the middle. That would give more flexible options for siblings who want their own space.

Great location, but extremely busy and impersonal. + It’s in a great position and the views from the 42 floor were spectacular − Super crowded, lifts don’t stop at poppy in the morning as they are prioritising checkout. You needed to go down to the car park so you can select the floor your staying on. Apartment was ok, but showed obvious signs of wear and tear. The check in/out experience is contactless. Our carpark had another car in it so we just parked in someone else’s spot.

+ Review – Orchid Residences, HR Surfers Paradise We stayed at Orchid Residences – HR Surfers Paradise for 3 nights, from 17 August to 20 August, during our Gold Coast trip. The location was fantastic, with a beautiful layout, good interiors and an amazing view. Once we were inside the apartment, the property itself was comfortable and had a lot going for it. However, the check-in and locating the apartment was extremely difficult. The building is the same complex that houses the Hilton, with the lower floors managed by Hilton while the upper floors are privately rented by individual owners. This arrangement was not clearly communicated beforehand, and it took us almost two hours to locate the apartment. The biggest issue was the key collection process. The apartment keys were kept in a locker outside an office located approximately 500–700 metres away from the apartment building. Finding this office and understanding where to collect the keys was particularly challenging,…

立地も良く、部屋も快適でした。 + ロケーションが最高です。 このルームは良かった！ − バスタブが劣化して不潔に見えたので、お湯を貯めて浸かれなかったことが残念。滞在日数があったので、トイレットペーパーの予備がいるとか1人1ロールしか用意してません！とお知らせしてください。またキッチン下に、スポンジや台拭き、洗濯用洗剤があることをしっかりアナウンスと書いたメモが入室した時にわかるようにして欲しい。退室時、汚れてたら罰金とあるが、床拭きモップは使用した後、わざわざ洗うのか？、ゴミ袋ごと捨てたら、代わりのものを自分でセッティングするのか、細かい部分が全くわからない。どこまでやれば良いのか、掃除して、ゴミを残さない、ゴミは分別して捨てるまで書いてあるがそこがストレスだった。指示に従うための消耗品の出費が大きかったです。 シングルベッドルームにコンセント🔌が全くなかった！

DO NOT BOOK RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY - 11504 !!! + Excellent location! − Unfortunately the residential apartment number 11504 was not up to standards! We have stayed on a different floor previously & it was absolutely suburb. This apartment was so pore & the cleaning was not up to standard. Carpets were fully stained, lounge was so discoloured from wear & tear, shaving hairs were left in the bathroom from the previous guests, our balcony doors didn’t lock which is a major safety standard as you can walk in between apartments from the balcony so anyone could actually just walk in if they wanted. The beds were so uncomfortable in both bedrooms, the springs had completely gone & had sunk. Also when we very first arrived late at night after our flight our door was already unlocked & opened so someone didn’t lock up properly. So disappointed in this apartment & the owner needs a good wake up call to update & make sure cleaning & safety are up to standards as we would never recommend this apart…

Loved the apartment and the location. + Everything went well but as we are elderly we found it a bit difficult to pick up the keys and return them on our departure. − As I said the only improvement we would have liked was the collecting and returning of the keys from the locked box which was quite a distance from our apartment.

Good location, good view, good size rooms. + Good location, good view − (1). It took us over 30 mins to find our car spot in the car park, more indication about the car spot will be good. (2). The apartment was clean but a bit tired (3). Nowadays most apartments will have the USB charger provided, but not this one. (4). Water pressure was too low for a shower.
