Not worth it! + We were hesitant to stay at this property due to the negative reviews but figured we would give it a try since it's affiliated with Marriott. That was a mistake! While it wasn't terrible, it's absolutely not up to Marriott standards! I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. Here are some of the major issues: - Customer service is basically non-existent, with the exception of a few staff members. The rest of the staff is actually quite unfriendly and does not seem to realize they work in the service industry. - The cleanliness in the public areas, especially the hallways/corridors is unacceptable. Room service plates were left out all day, trash was left in the bushes for our entire stay. - The food quality is average. The buffet was actually the best. The restaurants were not good. - The alcohol is very low quality and they ran out of basic items (beer!) daily. - There are activities daily, but the app does not show any. The entire guest experie…

I wish I stayed longer + We had another wonderful stay at Royalton CHIC Antigua, and this was actually our second visit. This resort continues to impress us, and we will definitely be coming back. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available at all times, so there’s never a struggle to find a comfortable spot to relax. The water is gorgeous and perfect for swimming. The specialty restaurants are excellent. We enjoyed the Mediterranean, Steak House, and Italian restaurants — the food quality, presentation, and service were consistently very good and well above what you typically expect at an all-inclusive resort. One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to General Manager Ivan and Guest Services Manager Chantelle, who clearly care about guest experience. Honest Review of Royalton Chic + We are currently finishing a two week holiday here at Royalton Chic. The Staff have been fantastic and most take pride in their work and when there is an issue and its reported to them, they will do everything they can to make it right. Compared to other islands and hotels we have stayed at, food quality and drink quality has been excellent. We didnt use room service so no comment there. but although the rooms are smaller, they are well maintained and presentation shows with the limited space. The highlight was the fitness program here with the above standard gym and fitness programs offered. The staff do an excellent job maintaining the gym. The Entertainment staff also try real hard to have everyone participate in their prograns. Make sure to bring enough supplies.... the prices in the.shops within the property are insane. Jet skis create nightmare and ruin whole experience + The one thing that I would comment on is the jet skis which thrashed around the bay from 9am to 6pm completely destroying the ambience of the beautiful bay. The noise was deafening at times, with jet skis (one towing an inflatable with several shrieking guests onboard) appearing to come deliberately close to the shoreline and to the water bungalows disturbing the peace and privacy that many guests will have been expecting for their expensive reservation in the best rooms. We saw several instances where jet skis going at full speed between shore and anchored boats almost decapitated swimmers. If I’d wanted to swim out to the wreck I would have been terrified of being sliced up by these maniacs. Having looked in to issue now it appears that the majority of this activity is against the law in Antigua so I have no idea why the hotel appears to do nothing to try to manage this antisocial and illegal activity.

Fun in the sun + We went to this hotel to celebrate all together. We were unsure about this because of the reviews however do not listen to the reviews as the service was incredible and our stay was amazing. Everyone was super welcoming. We did some aqua fitness classes with Eliena and she was incredible. It was the perfect level and we felt so refreshed after the class. She was also an amazing person to speak to and was super welcoming. We had an amazing time, definitely come here and ignore the reviews of the unnecessarily negative people!

Royalton chic fitness review + We had the best stay ever at this resort, ignore all the bad reviews the service was incredible. I have to add a special mention to Eliena the fitness instructor. She was absolutely amazing, we did aqua aerobics and yoga with her and it was incredible. I have nothing bad to say about this resort 10/10 pls come here and request Eliena!!

Fun classes with great instructor + We just had an incredible aqua fitness class followed by a water yoga one with the super fun Eliena. Me and my two daughters enjoyed her classes very much. The exercises were fun but effective and Eliena was very engaging and made both the sessions exciting. We are still here for the week and we are hoping to have other classes with Eliena.

Bad, just bad - do not stay here. + Arrived after a nine hour flight. Looking forward to a garden view room. See picture and video of what passes for a garden view. Overall staff were inattentive. When one position was understaffed, a team member would arrive from another area of the hotel to chit chat with the staff under pressure instead of pitching in. I have arrived at Fawlty Towers.

Mermaid’s Lagoon, Paradise with Ripples + Mermaid’s Lagoon: Paradise with Ripples Located at the end of the bay, with no resort on one side, the setting feels secluded and serene. The beach is beautiful, and the water is pristine. This resort truly shines because of its staff—the kindest and most genuine I have ever encountered. Their warmth and good-hearted nature made a lasting impression, and I sincerely hope this message reaches them. The resort should be deeply grateful for such an exceptional team. The buffet food was fantastic. That said, while this is an adults-only resort, I wasn’t expecting so many groups of 18- to 25-year-olds, which at times created a social-media-driven atmosphere. The only real downside was the noise at night. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a proper night’s sleep, and as someone who prefers a quieter environment, this significantly affected my experience. If you don’t mind the nightly noise, it’s wonderful.

A Less Than Stellar Visit + Commenting on our experience at Royalton Chic and waited a few weeks to allow Royalton Mgmt an opportunity to respond to our emails and did not a response. And that’s pretty much the issue here, this resort appears to have a mgmt void. The resort, rebranded in 2024, has a lot of potential but we had so many “mi or?”issues that it resulted in our first and probably last stay at this facility. We emailed twice before even arriving simply asking for a quiet room location as we are both seniors and we’re celebrating our 40th anniversary. What we received was a room overlooking one of the outdoor washrooms, located beside an electrical panel and the rear kitchen entrance to the Haven Rest. which operates until about 2 am. We asked for another room if possible and after being told by the front desk that it was doubtful, received another room, right off the main lobby bar. They wanted to move us again but 3 moves in one week is a bit much. We dined at the Hunt…

Boot camp class was amazing + Daniel led excellent boot camp classes. Eliana was awesome at the gym. Please don’t miss! Nighttime entertainment was pretty mid and lackluster but this is not a reflection of the dancers but just dj music selections.

Boot Camp classes were amazing + Daniel and Eliana were excellent instructors 100% recommend taking the boot camp. However entertainment was was not good at all music was all EDM and this is the Caribbean not Europe. We would have preferred a more Caribbean vibe. However I’ll definitely rate a five for the boot camp classes.

Aqua Fit Fun! + Daniel is the star of the workout world here in Antigua. Loved Eliena too. He is a joy and makes me want to dance, work and feel fabulous. If you come to Chic, then you have to come to the pool and have a blast with the kindest and fittest instructor you have ever met!

Nice holiday + We had a lovely time at the Royalton chic. Staff is friendly and we particularly enjoyed the fitness classes with Daniel. Rooms are quite recent and food is ok with a decent choice of restaurants.

Royalton Chic Experience. + The butler staff Andre and Monique were a dynamic duo. They ensured our needs, safety, happiness and wishes were met with the utmost care, dedication, and professionalism. Nekesha and Anique from Haven Grill were top notch. They were funny, kind, and welcoming. The food from Haven Grill was better than the other places on the resort. The entertainment staff and excursion/ towel guys were charming and funny. They made sure we had a smile on our faces. The rooms were well stocked and very clean. The receptionists at the spa were awesome. They were very friendly and made me feel like a queen! Michele and Julissa made my massages and facial enjoyable and relaxing. Kareme the taxi driver is great. He was knowledgeable and very helpful!

A Taste of Paradise + My husband and I spent a week at Royalton CHIC Antigua and had a wonderful time. The facility was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurants especially Olympus. Pescari was a nice experience as well. Being a Diamond club guest definitely added some perks which made the stay more memorable. Butlers Andre and Monique were always there to ensure our experience was enjoyable. They work very hard and deserve an abundance of recognition for all they do to accommodate their guests. The beach is beautiful and clean. We loved just being in the water whether it was at the beach or the pool. Hydrotherapy at the spa was relaxing and rejuvenating. We were very pleased with our stay.
