A Great Time + Just back from a 10 day all inclusive holiday at the Saraya, and we had a great time. This hotel has so much going for it. Spacious pools with lots of sunbeds (and mattresses), wonderfully friendly and attentive staff (special thanks to Ahmed in the main restaurant), great selection of food and drinks, private beach with sunbeds, windbreaks, food, drinks and toilet facilities. And everywhere kept spotless and hygienic - my 5th trip to North Africa and the first without a stomach upset. So why not 5 stars? I would have given 4 and a half if I could. We found the beds a bit hard and the pillows uncomfortable. The evening entertainment wasn't great, we preferred the music in the shisha bar to the shows in the theatre. We would also have preferred the shops to be fixed price, we hate haggling and so bought nothing from them. The crunch question is always would you go back? Yes but with our own pillows. The good the bad the not so nice + We wanted a relaxing holiday and we got one. The weather was great Feb 2026 pool was heated what a blessing. Our room was on the 3rd floor no lift "info for less able" there was abit of maintenance going on but they kept it as quiet as possible. The food was plentiful and varied. The entertainment team was very engaging and enthusiastic. The pool waiters did a great job, we did a few trips 1 was valley of the kings so a early start we asked for a breakfast bag i must say we was disappointed so improvements could be made there. The trip on the boat was arranged from the staff that operate from the pier they come around the hotel, it was a good price and they made sure we had a good day. Ali the horse man arranged a sunset horse ride on the beach which was lovely. Fantastic + Everything about this hotel faultless so much so we have already booked to go back next year. The staff are all very helpful, the food is great and it’s about 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Excellent service by Samuel + The service was excellence. Especially in the Sunflower restaurant by Samuel. He remembered my order and my family's orders for breakfast and dinners. This made us feel like home every single day. The cleaning staff decorated the room with towel elephants and swans. It was an amazing welcome.

Magical Jaz Makadi Saraya + Fantastic holiday at the Jaz Makadi Saraya hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food as fresh and great variety, which meant we never felt that we were eating repetitively which can happen at all inclusive hotels. We went to the Egyptian restaurant for our à la carte meal which was really nice. Great entertainment and a lovely and relaxing half term holiday in the sun with 3 kids and 3 adults

Paradise 😍😍 + As someone who travels around 3 times a year, this has to be one of the best holidays we have had. Everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful people, especially Mahmoud who works on the bar where the night time animation/entertainment is on, he is a very kind man and good at his job, we came with 2 small children an they enjoyed every minute of it especially the aqua park which is brilliant, we did Paragliding at the beach and speed boat which was a great experience, the animation team were great and always smiling, the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the heated pool which is perfect temperature for a relaxed swim. We visited the grill restaurant which was also very nice and we enjoyed our meals 10/10. Beautiful escape from winter to summer. + First time in Egypt, we were cautious at first, but in the end a very good experience! Good food, friendly staff, nice hotel environment and sea. Suitable for families with children. We enjoyed every day. We can fully recommend it.

Amazing break + This was a great hotel and we loved our weeks stay. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted and NYE was amazing. 1: The food was good all inclusive food, we didnt use the other restaurants as the main restaurant was fine for us. The snack bars around the pool were also great. Breakfast was typical AI some random things thrown in but pancakes toast cereal etc. 2: There was a section of the main pool heated and the baby pool was. Im not sure about the quiet pool people were swimming in it I just have a loud child so we didnt use it 😆 3: The rooms were big and clean the bathroom had shower gel shampoo. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom. Tea/coffee in room and a mini fridge. This is charged in Euros. The water was free. Disappointment.. + I chose this hotel because of the reviews, hype, and the reputation of Jaz Hotel Group. This was our first visit and stay in a Jaz Hotel Group property, but it was a real disappointment regarding the food and drinks handling and quality. We experienced one morning a so-called "chef" drop a fork on the floor, pick it up, and put it back into the food as if nothing had happened. I informed the restaurant manager, and he said he would sort it out. The food is very bland, tasteless; meats are fatty, chewy, and chicken is chopped into unrecognizable pieces, which makes it look horrible and disgusting. All the "boiled" vegetables are half raw, even if they are in a stew or inside any other dishes. The bread/pastry The section is massive, but miraculously, no matter how different they look, they all taste the same. Lovely hotel + Although a beautiful hotel with amazing grounds and staff, this is no more than a 3* star. All inclusive should include everything - mini bar extra cost, fresh juice extra cost - only one à la carte visit. The staff are what makes this hotel - Ahmed and Ali in the upstairs restaurant were fantastic. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable.

Karen loves Saraya + My 5th stay at the Makadi Bay resort and my 4th at the Jaz Saraya. I Love It so much !!! The wonderful staff that are always so helpful and polite, with great jokes too. The Animation team, that are extremely talented and work really hard to produce exciting shows and fun games for all ages. The amazing food, my favourite is the lamb, compliments to my omelete chef also. My room was spotless everyday !!! The resort is immaculate and well maintained. I'll be back again soon already looking at flights

Excellent + Just home from a stay at the Saraya. What a lovely stay. This hotel ticks all the boxes for location, atmosphere and great value for money. We had a late arrival and still got a meal. I asked for a quiet room and this was honoured. The room was well equipped and excellently clean. Our room man was so wanting to please us. He left creatures made from bedding everyday. Water was replenished everyday. The Sunflower restaurant (buffet) had an array of excellent food. So much choice. They try so hard to please all nationalities. Lots of food cooked fresh in the open air ovens. Lots of fish, chicken and beef. The al a carte restaurants also are excellent. We used the Italian (Niko’s). Please do not take this hotel at face value. It’s tired and is in the process of being tidied up. It’s 30 year old. But it’s immaculate in hygiene. Building works on the beach not notified + Jaz Makadi Saraya All inclusive package holiday - 3 to 13 March 2026 Sadly this much anticipated and needed all inclusive package holiday was horribly spoilt by building work on the beach during the entire holiday (9 days on the beach). I was not made aware of this work on booking or in the weeks prior to departure (booked through TUI who have said they were not made aware of this work). The hotel has a private beach section and I booked this specifically to enable me to snorkel off the beach every day and to relax on the beach. Unfortunately on my first day on the beach (4th March 2026) the demolition and rebuilding of an outdoor shower on the beach began. On completion, work to demolish and rebuild 2 further outdoor showers slightly further along the beach began and which was finished on my last day before departure. The noise from jackhammers, grinders etc was continuous and incredibly loud and intrusive making it impossible to relax.…

Perfect holiday resort + Location half hour by transport provided with hotel booking. Beautiful hotel with comfortable clean lovely rooms. Gardens immaculate and kept gorgeous. Amazing holiday for OAPs + Had a great time at this hotel. The hotel was very clean and the customer service provided was amazing. Front of house staff was amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The pool lads was always walking around asking if you was okay and if you wanted a drink (Kahlil). The towels was changed every day and the bed sheets were changed every other day. The cleaner of room 4104 was amazing and provided amazing towel art. The towels art was different every day when we returned back to the room. The cleaner is an amazing credit to the hotel. Sunbeds were always available when we wanted to use them. The Ala Cart restaurants had fantastic waiters and the customer service was outstanding.
