Good + Great view to Yulong Mountain (picture from the hotel room). Relatively spacious. Nicely decorated. Friendly and accommodating staff. We had to leave for the airport early on the day of check out and they started the breakfast 30 min earlier to accommodate our travel plans. − While nicely decorated, they can do pay more attention to details to make our stay more convenient. e.g. each villa has an individual garden with a pool, but there are no lightings to the main gate both from the room and from the common walkway. It was almost impossible to go to the gate, or unlock it without carrying a torchlight. There are also steps at the gate which is impossible to see in the dark.

+ The property is aged and the front light did not work most of the time so we need to walk in the dark at night, which is quiet dangerous. The dining options were very limited so there is nothing to eat at night besides the Chinese restaurant. The TV had very limited foreign channels, which is very disappointing for an international brand. Of course if they are only catering to Mainland Chinese tourists then it would be fine. Overall a bit disappointed with the hotel brand.

+ I had a wonderful stay at Banyan tree Lijiang. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great during my stay. Nevertheless, the hotel and facilities were amazing! Abby, Coco and Xiao Tang at the reception were also amazing and made us all feel so welcome!
