+ The staff provides exceptional service and advice. The lounge charmingly decorated to take one back to the early 1900's. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location for shopping and restaurants besides visiting sightseeing places like West Lake and the elegant garden of former residence of Hu Xueyan. Thank you.

+ The location cannot be beat. You are close by to many main food and shopping street. Short walk or bike to West Lake. The rooms are uniquely decorated. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly. The only down side is that it is quite warm in the room. The front desk mentioned that they can adjust the AC or provide a fan.

Great option for Hangzhou + This hotel is well located, a short walk from a street filled with restaurants, shops and things to see. In only 15 minutes you can also walk to the West Lake. The staff here are truly wonderful, and they spent a lot of time and effort helping me out with some issues I had as well as getting an item ordered online and delivered.

+ If you come to Hangzhou, this is the place you want to stay. Bus stop outside the door, 5 minute walk to metro, amd Zhongshan street just around the corner. Staff speak English well and are very helpful.

+ Beautiful rooms. I fell in love immediately and booked 2 more nights. Auto flushing toilet. Automatic drape open & close by command. Lovely decorated with antique bathtub & chair. extremely large shower and private bathroom. The staff was delightful. Many wonderful dining places within 5 minutes walk. there are 2 banks nearby, lots of convenience stores, shopping malls and night market. walking distance to West lake and many boat riding options. Truly wonderful experience. A (5 star hotel) at $35! I felt very much at home. highly recommended.

+ Would definitely stay here again. Near the pedestrian street of shopping and food. Room was nice and clean with comfy bed and automatic curtains and toilet. Shower was strong and I appreciated the free laundry in the basement and the available coffee and tea in the lobby. Only drawbacks are fine for me, but may not be for light sleepers is the wall is paper thin, and you can hear muffled conversations in the next room. I had earplugs so it was fine. Also, Elder customers may have trouble with the step up to the sink and the step up to the toilet sections Again fine for me, but not necessarily for my parents if they stayed there
