+ The cleaning is rather superficial, but compared to other hotels in China, it’s above average. It’s a bit far from the city center, but you can get there in about 30 minutes by Didi. The breakfast is very good, with both international and local options. A deposit is required at check-in, which is refunded a few days after checkout. Overall, a good value for money for Chongqing.

Excellent stay in Chongqing + Well-maintained, clean house. Large, comfortable, very well-equipped room. Very good breakfast. Highly recommended! − It's a bit far away from the metro station. Staff doesn't speak English, and communication with the translator is not very effective..

Comfort Home Away + Located at quiet new township, I found it very soothing to stay away from the popular central across the river bank. Yet, it is still very accessible by rapid transit station just few stations away. Breakfast was very hearty and pampering. Staff are friendly and helpful, even over the parcels dispatch. Overall, it had been very pleasant stay and I would not hesitate to recommend. − Nothing at all

Comfortable stay in a slightly remote and isolated location + Spacious apartment, with basic kitchen and washing machine, room/building/hardware are all clean and relatively new it seems, 24 hours reception, walking distance to nearby MRT station, happy with the breakfast provided too, good value for money if one doesn't mind that it is located in slightly remote area without any cafe/convenient store or anything in sight. very close to one of the major train station in Chongqing. − consider the price and the room/hardware that is being offered, it is good value for money, but obviously the price for that is that it is located in a slightly remote location/neighbourhood without anything in sight, but still easily accessible by MRT or didi/taxi.

Loved the stay and would choose Somerset Chayuan again! + The apartment was very spacious. The 3 bedrooms fitted our meeds perfectly. Beds were very comfortable and each room was fitted with a large flatscreen tv. The spacious living room had a huge flatscreen TV and sound system which we could connect our mobile phones to, to play from Spotify. Bathrooms were spacious, clean and well maintained. We didn’t use the kitchenette though as it seems that we had to sign up for an account to activate it. Service staff were friendly and accommodating. Even arranged a small cake and flowers for me, after knowing that it was my birthday on the day we checked in. Very touched by their warmth! − Maybe the location of the apartment is quite isolated. Also, the in house restaurant is only open in the morning (for breakfast), and there is limited number of eateries within walking distance (although I must say they are reasonably priced and tasted good). A calm break with absolutely everything a family could need. + Lovely, warm, welcoming, helpful staff. It’s a little far out of the city, which we loved as a break from the hustle. It was the perfect stay for our family of 4. The kids area and gym are great, and our room was amazing, but the staff really made it an incredible stay. − Absolutely nothing.

+ the room was great − you need to pay a deposit when you check in which you need to ask for at check out / it takes some time / breakfast - coffee machine was broken / instead of bakon there is something else ( did not taste good )

Stay was wonderful. Great breakfast and modern, clean and spacious room. Will definitely book again! + Great and quiet location behind the mountain. It’s nicely hidden from the bustling city center, with just a 15 minute metro ride away. Qiujiawan metro station is just about 7 minute walk from the hotel. Very convenient! − Nothing to dislike. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious and rooms were comfortable and well equipped.
