Suspect you can get a lot better value elsewhere + The location was good, staff were friendly − On the surface things looked nice but at soon as you looked closer everything was worn, stained and old. In need of a big refurbishment. We stayed on the 4th floor and the small was stale and moist. Was expecting a lot better considering the name. I can imagine if you have kids staying with you it would be good as seemed to be a lot of things for them to do. But overall not great.

Thank you for a wonderful , stress free stay at the Shang. + We had one morning of breakfast and it was very good . The menu catered mainly to the Chinese tastebud,,; perhaps it should add a few more western items , such as frankfurters − Overall, there was nothing not to like. Kudos to the staff for trying to protect us from scamming taxi drivers.

设施陈旧！再好的服务也达不到5星标准！ + 环境不错 − 床垫凹陷！早餐煮馄饨我等了30分钟以上。我入住时间还不是很多人的情况下。不知道是不是要求节省食材还是其他什么原因。跑了2趟我的早餐都没有煮好！5星级酒店！差评！

+ Amazing travel agency on site and a very good breakfast − Photos aren’t representative of the view - we paid for a Mountain View and got a building right in front of the window. After asking if there were any other rooms we were offered a downgrade with the same view. Rooms were outdated and a little dirty.

Un petit paradis en plein centre ville + Un havre de paix et de verdure au milieu de la ville. Un parc magnifique, des chambres très spacieuses, un petit déjeuner incroyable, une piscine immense et une décoration de l’hôtel sublime. − Le personnel devrait parler un peu plus anglais, surtout dans un hôtel de cette catégorie.

Not a Shangri-La by a mile… + That I will never ever have to stay at it again. − Everything. Terrible location, staff barely spoke English, bellboys were slow, noise cancelling non existent (we could hear some old people karaoke from 9am till 7pm every single day), smelled very mouldy, the whole hotel design was extremely dated and in need of a renovation. There are far superior options in the city.
