Une parenthèse agréable dans la montagne + L’emplacement de l’hôtel est incroyable, en plein milieu de la montagne. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables. Le restaurant tibétain est très festif le soir avec des danses traditionnelles. − Le personnel est très agréable mais ne parle pas anglais du tout, il est absolument nécessaire d’avoir une application de traduction. La nourriture en particulier du restaurant chinois nous a semblé extrêmement grasse, nous n’avons pas vraiment apprécié.

Without Ms Susan it will be bad stay. Again million thanks to Susan and other Staff + This hotel is in amazing location to relax and enjoy nature, but when it’s cold it’s a little bit harder for people doesn’t resist coldness, more of the places to stay or to eat are outside so be prepared. Even the staff is poor in English but I want to tell how big heart they have especially Ms Susan, she helped me to feel home like a sister trying to help her brother. I want to tell her 10000 thank you. − Not convenient for a foreigner as Staff doesn’t speak English, you should use translator app in every minutes. Less option for western food. But it’s understandable most of the people staying there are Chinese.

Overall, the stay within the hotel is good with splendid facilities and very nice rooms with good views. + The hotel looks grand with very high ceiling. The glass dome design with Tibetan interior decorations add an element of specialty. There is a large indoor garden area with geese roaming in the ponds. The room is beautiful with very scenic views of the mountain. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of eastern and western choices. − Outside of the hotel front desk is freezing cold where the indoor garden is. The breakfast area is also cold. However, dinner choices at the hotel is very limited. Getting transportation from the hotel to the scenic spots and back can be tricky although arrangements could be made via the reception. Messages and emails sent to the hotel in Mandarin and English before our arrival did not receive a reply.

A bit disappointing + It is a unique hotel in terms of location (in the middle of the nature), infrastraucture etc. Rooms spacious and comfy − I couldn't believe it, but among ca 7-8 reception officers we (spoke to) over 2 days, only one could scrap a couple of words in English. The rest - zero! Booking a rather expensive stay in the Intercontinental (a US chain, by the way), I expected a different picture. The "local" evening show was irritatingly loud but looked very cheap and amateurish - elementary school kids would do better with a bit of drill. Both issues = a shame for the Intercont brand

+ Mars was very helpful in organising our transportation to and from the hotel, and also in answering questions regarding the nearby attractions. The space was very clean and beautiful, with plenty of amenities. Definitely recommend!
