+ The staff at the hotel were friendly, the room was quiet and the bedding was clean. However the room's airconditioner was ineffective and the bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The area around Guangzhou railway station is run down compared with other parts of the city, and you will have to run the gauntlet of touts, vagrants and police cordons to travel the hundred metres from metro exit D1 to the hotel entrance. At times I didn't feel safe in the area, and I wouldn't stay at this hotel again for that reason.

Central location. Good service + The hotel is right by the Railway station which is very convenient since its a central location.its very basic but functional. I highly recommend this hotel.

Dirty hotel room + The cleanliness of this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. There is clearly flood damage in the room, yet they still allowed this room to be rented out. Wallpaper near the windows was wet and falling down. The carpets was wet and dirty. I think they know hence they provided slippers for us. During our 1 night stay there. There was a few mosquitoes in our room despite the air con being on the lowest and the mosquito repellent plug being put on. Another minus for this hotel is that although it is next to the train station. To try a get a taxi of didi (Chinese Uber or grab) is extremely difficult as the policemen outside do not allow the cars to stop there

Oh No ! + Wifi is the forest most time doesn't work. Water pressure is so low almost impossible to take a shower. The room I was stay the flooring desperately need relace.

clean and pleasant stay with friendly service + overall we has a pleasant experience. The reception was good. Li Mann was very helpful with shopping guidance. The air conditioning cannot be controlled. It was a bit too warm for us in the early evening but the room did get cooler closer to morning. The shower head was a bit slow and the room is not big but the price and service made up for any deficit.

+ The rooms smell of stale smoke even though I booked a non-smoking room. Rooms are also old and run down, it is apparent not much maintenance has been done.
