Great place for one night stay or long term if you’re on a budget + It quite clean, the environment was great and really good value. The staff were very friendly too. I live close to Shanghai and just needed a bed for the night, if I travel alone again to Shanghai I’d definitely would like to come back to this hotel. − Nothing, it was everything I needed for my trip to Shanghai.

Highly recommend it! + Amazing service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Helped me book a driver to the airport and even held up an umbrella for me to get to the car. Loved the room (small, with little extra’s and comfy). The Chinese breakfast in their café was delicious. They also serve Continental and full Australian breakfast. Included in the room booking.

Estancia en un interesante hotel que puede resultar atractivo para mochileros + El trato recibido siempre fue muy amable en la recepción, aunque en ciertos momentos nos tocó usar el traductor debido a errores de comunicación. El lugar en sí estaba muy bien y era acogedor, y el desayuno estaba muy bueno y era bastante completo. Por otro lado, el hotel no estaba muy lejos del centro o del Bund, por lo que su ubicación era muy buena si deseas visitar la ciudad. − En general llevé un poco mal la cuestión de los espacios. Al tratarse de cubículos, no había mucho disponible, y si llevas equipaje, puede resultar bastante agobiante en ocasiones, porque no sabes donde dejar las cosas. Además, si eres una persona alta, la cama se puede quedar un poco pequeña. Y en cuanto, al baño, aunque estaba bastante limpio, sin embargo creo recordar que no era muy fácil de cerrar desde el interior, y tenías que pelearte con el candado o con el cerrojo de turno hasta que dabas con la solución.

+ I booked a stay here for my wife. The staff was exceptionally friendly to her and made her feel welcomed and comfortable. She’d been extremely distressed and exhausted after her flight, but the people in the hotel helped out and made things a bit better for her. She had to check out earlier than the booked date, but the hotel staff helpfully refunded a portion of the remaining days that she ended up not staying for. Also, the receptionist was helpful when she needed to call a taxi, the restaurant personnel were exceptional (and the food was delicious).

Very warm and efficient staff - comfortable with great food. Happy memories of Shanghai. + The staff were fantastic. The second room we rented was spacious and very comfortable. Food was delicious. − The first room we rented had no windows and smelt a bit damp. Lack of tea and coffee in rooms. Toilet doors are thin and include a large layer of opaque glass. Coffee tastes pretty good but was like warm.
