Great location near Sun Moon Lake. + Excellent location. Close to bus stop, lake, bike rental and restaurants. Water dispenser in corridor was very welcome. The owner was extremely helpful. − A little expensive but maybe that’s typical of the area.

+ The host is very riendly, communicative, and helpful. Nice smell of the tea room reaches even to the upper floors. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had nice breakfast delivered in a basket to the room. Each day different :) We had also dinners included and they were arranged in local restaurants, so we could try various types of food. It is very convenient location, close to bus station, boat pier, and amenities.

+ Rooms were large and offered space to chill out, and like a lot of accommodation in Taiwan, each floor has a hot/cold water dispenser. The location is close by to the main bus station area and between both 7-11s, with one of them being open 24/7. − The rooms at the front of the property have bathrooms facing the street so you might want to consider showering with the blinds down which is a bit weird. There's no laundry on site but there the staff member showed us that a coin operated laundry is about 200m away.

Comfy and sweet + We came with a family of 5 including 3 kids. We had the entire space to ourselves - 3 floors, 4 queen sized beds, a sitting area, small kitchenette with specialty teas, and a luxurious bathroom. We were greeted by the sweetest and most welcoming hostess. She began her introduction with a small teacup of a delicious brown sugar tea. The aroma in the tea house is phenomenal! She also provided plenty of food recommendations, lake activities, and excellent tips on navigating the area by boat, bike, and ropeway. On our day of departure, she kept our luggage safe until we returned from Ita Thao. We especially loved her easy going and comforting presence. The simple check-in and check-out process was a plus. The B&B owner speaks English too, which is really helpful for non-Chinese speaking tourists. We hope to return again someday! − Nothing
