+ Lovely place, but the access to the hotel is a bit of a walk especially when you have older people. My aunt found it very difficult to walk after a long flight − Everything was good

Not great + Kind staff − The trip switch on the wall in our room 'tripped' every 5 mins throughout the night and flashed light every time. This was noisy, disturbing and dangerous. We did not sleep one wink.

Hotel tranquilo con personal muy amable en un lugar tranquilo + El personal fue muy amable y nos ayudó en todo momento. El sector es bien lindo también, en la noche hay búfalos en la playa ya que es un animal protegido. Si bien hay que caminar unos 10 minutos para llegar al hotel porque no llegan los autos al mismo punto, es todo muy cómodo y tranquilo. Es una localidad súper relajada, puedes llegar en barco, bus o taxi azul.

Lantau Island is a paradise. Rooms are small. I don't mind at all. I only sleep there anyway. + Running in morning. Running up the hill and forest trails at extreme northern end of the beachwalk. Food at the Silvermine Resort restaurant, a few hundred feet away. Breakfasts are good. English stye breakfast − It is a very long walk from where both the ferry and the bus arrive, about a mile. It was 37 degrees C and 75% humidity every day, so the walk, with luggage, is exhausting. The water at beach is the dirtiest I have ever seen. Visibiity is less zero (not a quarter inch, zero, green-brown water). The bottom is thick mud or sand so your whole foot goes in (cannot see what it is down there because no visibility). The District Council posts notice at beach that it has high levels of E. Coli, so you swim at your risk, unless your goal is to take your last swim, in which case you will be in heaven (literally). The food at nearby Silvermine is excellent and good price. This is NOT beach …

Room Size and Comfort Could Be Improved + The location and the staffs − The stay was pleasant overall, but the room felt quite small and lacked enough space to comfortably open and manage luggage. There was also no proper seating area to sit and relax, and having no mirror in the room made it difficult to get ready comfortably. The room essentially had space for the bed and bathroom, so a little more room and some basic amenities would have made the stay much more comfortable.

− The website should have told us there was about a km or more of walking to our hotel from where the taxi dropped us off. There was no directions on how to get there and all the while in the dark. We are senior citizens with mobility issues and loaded down with 7 pieces of luggage, and we struggled mightily. Worse of all there were no staff to help us. Definitely a bad experience after 13 hours of travel. I would definitely not book this hotel again. Give this a very poor rating.
