Probably the worst Marriott hotel ever + To share my feedback regarding my ongoing 15-night stay as a Marriott Bonvoy titanium Elite member. Unfortunately, my experience since arrival yesterday has fallen significantly short of the standards expected of a Westin and the Marriott Bonvoy program. **1. Arrival & Elite Recognition:** Upon check-in, I was not greeted proactively, and the reception team appeared unresponsive to my queries (potentially due to language barriers). As a longtime Elite member, I expect acknowledgment of my loyalty status at all Bonvoy properties. When inquiring about suite upgrade benefits, I was initially informed they "did not exist" at this property—a claim later corrected by a manager. While the manager assured me upgrades would be addressed if availability arises, the inconsistency and initial dismissal were disappointing. Great stay in a large hotel with very good food. + The breakfast was very good, very many options, Asian as well as western food was available. The conference rooms were nice and the service very friendly and helpful. − The WLAN had low capacity when many people were using it. Green tea was not available at each meal, maybe this could be provided in the future.

Stunning river view and excellent club lounge + I received a room upgrade to a river view room with stunning river view and splendid sunset view. Club lounge was so great to provide a variety of Chinese and western food at happy hour. Breakfast in restaurant was also brilliant. Indoor pool and gym was also functional and well-appointed. Lobby was very luxurious!

Amazing hotel with great view, perfect also for international travellers + Great location next to the river, with room view. The hotel is monumental and wide, with great common spaces. The staff is very welcoming and speaks English fluently, which makes it easy for international travellers. − The hairdresser was still closed when I tried to go, even if it should have opened more than one hour before according to due opening time.

Stay was very nice. The Guest Service Manager Gary Xu was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. + Breakfast was great. Location was OK. − Timing published for buffet dinner on Saturday was misleading. I was told by staff that buffet is open till 9:30 pm, but when we arrived just before 9:00 pm dinner was closed. But gave us a stake and salad in the room on additional payment.
