Very peaceful and clean + Excellent location, very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious and equipped with a mini fridge. I only wished the breakfast included more international option aside from cheese and bread ab.

Warm hospitality in Xiamen; great hotel for families with young kids + Our family visited China and had an extended stay at the Xiamen Marriott. We were very grateful for the warm hospitality of the staff at the Xiamen Marriott. A special moment was when the staff at the restaurant gave my son a tour of the family as he loves to bake. The resort is well set up for families with young kids - as there is a kids play room, indoor pool and several outdoor pools including a water slide. We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back again for a night in the winter during the beginning of our trip here.

Nice room, breakfast, and location. High price. + Breakfast was great. Coffee needed to be more easily accessible. I had to ask for a cup. Why not have self-service coffee? Rooms was nice. I liked the location, next to the beach and running path. Really nice. − It would have been nice to have screens on the sliding door, so I could have fresh air without having to worry about mosquitos. I had to ask for coffee packets. None were supplied when I arrived. I would have liked to have swum in the pool, but it was closed.

Looks pretty but lacking in many areas + The hotel looked impressive and the beds were comfortable. The staff were pleasant but inefficient. Sadly that’s were the positive ends really − The room was freezing and needed dusting when we first got there and they informed us that they had turned off the heating. They did however provide a heater. The food was as poor from breakfast to dinner. Lots of dry food that felt like it had been left out. The most disappointing thing was that despite the forecast being warm , being there in April and over a public holiday, the hotel had drained the pool and we had no information about this prior

+ The hotel does not have adequate temperature control and it was 80 degrees in our room all night long. We called the front desk and asked for them to fix the AC. They changed our room but it had the same problem. Essentially the unit would not cool past 26C. Way to hot for a luxury hotel. What was worse was they tried to gaslight us in saying that it takes up to an hour after checkin to have the AC work. After three hours it was still warm and had actually gone up. We had been traveling for 28 hours and were exhausted and needed to rest but couldn't because it was hot and muggy and gross. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

+ La situation, juste en face des petits restaurants, Food court, et supermarchés, très pratique. Un bel hôtel face à la mer, une allée à circulation douce tout le long de la plage, très calme avec une bonne literie − Dommage que l'hôtel ne possède pas quelques installations (tentes ou transats) sur la plage.
