+ Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Four Seasons Shenzhen. The hotel is extremely well located, very central, impeccably clean, and generally a very pleasant place to stay. That said, there were a few aspects of the experience that fell somewhat short of what I would normally expect from a Four Seasons property. I fully appreciate the geographical and language context, but I was surprised by the difficulty in communicating in English with some members of staff, particularly at the bar and, at times, at reception. At a hotel of this international standing, I would expect a somewhat stronger level of English among guest-facing teams. I was also surprised by the absence of a butler service, or at least by the fact that no equivalent service or point of contact was explained to me upon arrival. Perhaps I was simply unlucky and missed some information, but these are the kind of details that could easily be clarified during check-in and would make the guest experience feel consi…
