Everything good, BUT... + Everything was amazing. − The shower drain was clogged and the water drained very slowly. I reported the issue several times during my stay. Each time, the staff told me they had sent a plumber while we were out and assured me that the problem had been fixed. However, when I returned and checked, nothing had changed—the drain was still clogged. After repeatedly reporting the same issue without any improvement, I eventually gave up because it was clear that nothing was being done to resolve it.

Historical untique hotel with good location + Historical and classical style of the lobby and the room. The sheets and towels were very clean and well organised. − There were small insects in the bath room. I guess this was due to the old facilities. The toilet on the second floor was not clean.

− The carpets were old, the rooms could use some minor repairs, and there was a smell of cigarette smoke on the third floor. The hotel bar could stay open longer.

Отель в самом центре! + Отель в самом центре! От метро People’s square меньше 1 минуты пешком! И название отеля есть на указателях выхода в метро) очень удобно)) От аэропорта также есть прямая линия, даже не нужно делать пересадки. Это около 17 юаней с человека за поездку Еда достаточно хорошая на завтрак Чай есть, но там 1 пакетик как с утра заваривают, а потом только доливают кипяток 🤣 так что если хотите завтракать со свежим чаем, нужно идти к началу завтрака))) Отель очень большой! И построен лет так 100 назад) Конечно ковровые покрытия нуждаются в замене, и сейчас где то в отеле ведутся ремонтные работы Уборка каждый день, смена полотенец, ставят воду. Номера внутри тихие

It’s a pleasant experience staying in this hotel. I’ll definitely stay here again when I go to Shanghai. + Location, cleanliness, friendly service. − There’s no ramp at the main entrance of the lobby, only staircases. This is a bit inconvenient for those with weak legs especially when carrying big luggages.

Excellent value for money + The hotel is perfectly located between the main tourist attractions. The French Quarter is about a 30-minute walk away, and it takes roughly the same time to walk to the other main sights. There is also a metro station nearby, which is very convenient. The room was wonderful. I honestly expected something worse, so it exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was absolutely delightful — I haven’t seen such an impressive variety at a hotel breakfast in years! Overall, the hotel is absolutely worth the money and offers excellent value for the price.

Would recommend getting a corner suite, ours had a great view over the park and down Nanjing Rd + Great location on Nanjing Rd. It has a real history and great atmosphere and old school helpful staff.
