Recommended! + Very friendly service from all staff. Had to change my booking multiple times due to the typhoon, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Spent quite some time in the executive club - shoutout to Ice and her team.

Another Relaxing Short Stay + The oriental club is phenomenal, Ice Wei and Yamy were exceptional and they showed great hospitality and were super friendly. The room was spacious and quiet, comfortable bedding, I had good quality sleeps. The spa facility and service was another highlight. Will return, as always.

Good stay but... + I stayed three nights/4 days here in July 2026. Overall, this was a good stay. I did book directly through the MO website as a Silk member. Unlike many MO hotels which I visited in the past, MO Guanghzou will not proactively prepare your stay by sending a welcome message in advance of your stay, which I find unfortunate. Check-in was extremely cold and robotic with absolutely no sense of the intuitive, personalized hospitality that I usually associate with the Mandarin Oriental brand . I had booked a club room which was very nice but the view was pretty disappointing, being entirely obstructed by the Ascott building even high up in the building (the view at MO Shanghai or Beijing is way more interesting). I visited the lounge, which was quite nice. The food and drink selection was superb and the staff was extremely friendly. I did have a chat with the staff at the entrance of the club lounge because, unlike all other MO properties, I was not reminded about my Silk …

Top Hotel, top staff + Top notch hotel. Very friendly staff in the Oriental Club, especially Miss Ice Wei. The Club is very recommendable with its many food and drink selections. Hope there will be a next time.

+ Exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. We had visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. An email in advance was all it took to coordinate a great celebration. They went beyond to decorate the room and provide us with a cake. The loft bar with Mira really made it special with drinks, and the couple massage with Joyce and Lily was relaxing and professional. All the staff were very hospitable and we'd glady return again to this beautiful hotel. The mall was also accessible via hotel which was convenient. − Nothing

Unforgettable memories! + Beautiful room and such an amazing welcome for my sons, one of whom was celebrating his 18th birthday and the other his admission to medical school. They surprised them with a delicious chocolate cake and a touching congratulatory card, personally delivered to our room by the hotel staff. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant where breakfast is also served. Even though we arrived late in the evening, we were warmly welcomed, served, and made to feel at home. At the restaurant, a gentleman who I believe was the restaurant manager helped us learn as many details as possible about the place and made sure that we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for such an unforgettable welcome! − -

A short overnight stay + A very short stay this time - even shorter than my first visit last year. The layout of the room was instantly familiar. The bath area was still split on 2 sides, with the tub and shower on one side and the toilet / vanities on the other. My one complaint remains the power sockets, which were especially difficult if one carried large chargers used for computers like MacBook. Other than that, really happy to have returned.

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Concierge Service + I had a wonderful experience at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou. The hotel is elegant, comfortable, and beautifully with a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Thank you to the concierge team, particularly Steven and the entire team for such excellent hospitality. I would highly recommend Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou to anyone visiting the city, and I look forward to staying here again.

Decent. + Breakfast selection and quality of food are good. − Should have more chairs at the lobby, especially we travelled with group of friends, usually gathered at lobby, there are only about 4 chairs at the lobby.

+ الموقع − طريقة الدفع الغير مفهومه واللي بالتدقيق فيها تكتشف انه لولا ان النزيل يكون منتبه ممكن ينصب عليه وهذا ثاني إقامة لي معاهم وكل مرة عند الدفع تصير مواقف تدل على النصب والاحتيال
