An excellent base from which to explore Saigon ; safe, secure and serene + The location was very suitable for us as we have family living nearby, thus a five minute walk to the apartment they live in. There are local convenience stores within a few minutes walk to buy basics such as bread and fruit. The popular Tartine Cafe is nearby, as are other small cafes and coffee shops. On-site laundry was a bonus over our 18 night stay and the swipe card to operate the front gate and room access gave us freedom of movement at all hours. It is a very secure compound and set back from the river and the Thao Dien Road relatively peaceful. A pretty compound. Great air-con. − There was little not to like. If one were looking for improvements an easy chair and small television would have been nice. The kitchen area provides a big fridge and ceramic cook top but isn't equip to promote food preparation or cooking. While there is an electric jug there are only very few basic items of cutlery.
