+ Location in the centre of the old quarter was perfect for trip pick ups. Breakfast was excellent, the rooms were comfortable with the city view room being quiet and we did not hear the traffic outside. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this to anyone staying in Hanoi. − Nothing

I stayed here twice on the trip 1 1st night B4 next FLT & coming back 2 nights (I usally do not prebook incase I chg my schedule on vcay) the Hilton in Da Nang suggested I stay at the New Tru Hilton In Hanoi so I did) If u like a monster Simi truck w a huge smashing bolder thing on it (so loud)Pic attached) starting at 00:30 then this the place for you) Being after midnight u can not book online The front desk as super nice &accommodating he call the Hilton Garden inn Hanoi they only had 1 twin room available i took it They held it for me till I got there When I arrived the front desk was so nice The next morning breakfast was excellent they insisted I move rooms to an UG (only Gold lost my diamond status bcuz I go back & forth now w another brand. for u all that are gold they will do there best to give you our gold peaks)! Good Choice! + A very warm hospitality by the staff specially Minh at the reception who was very helpful and extended support beyond his responsibilities. Definitely a very good choice. Locations though could have been better.

Amazing hotel and staff are superb. Food is amazing + Where do I start. This has been the happiest Hilton I’ve ever stayed at. People are so kind and warm to me. This is very much appreciated. For example; the front desk: Nlui, Nguyen and Huigen were so helpful with my room, brought me a birthday cake, helped me order food from grab and told me their suggestions for travel and helped me book a package tour. And then there’s the breakfast people, like Nhung and Trang and Trang. Nhung helped me with so much information about Hanoi. Everyone at this hotel is very kind. The chef Tuyen makes the best poached eggs and always serves with a smile. This is one of the best Hilton hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

A Grand hotel ***** + What a fine, mature hotel! From check in - to breakfast Trang made us an excellent non-dairy hot chocolate to go with warmed croissants (a trainee with heart-she really cares about her guests)! I also want to thank the man that made my eggs on Wednesday and a lady (Hang) that made them this morning- 1 of the best omelettes, I ever had!!! The front desk lady, Chi, made me a map to find a great many places of interest (I’m old school) & she went above and beyond, forecasting rain & offering a big umbrella)!. and Nguyen was pleasant as well, with making us feel at home in Hanoi! Oh the beds are great* and the maids are a cut above the rest!!! If I had to find a “con” it would be small TV & rugs in the rooms… replace with LVP or other “wooden” flooring, please!

Excellent short stay. + The front desk demonstrated highly cooperative attitude by permitting early check in by almost 5 hours. Highly appreciate. − The breakfast menu and spread can be more elaborate. Even apples were not there.
