+ We had a wonderful stay. The beach was peaceful and never crowded, with white sand and crystal-clear water. We loved the natural shade from the beautiful trees and the plenty of sunbeds available. A big plus was the free access to kayaks, SUPs, and snorkeling gear. Also, the daily refills of snacks, water, tea, and coffee capsules in the room were a very thoughtful touch. − A few things to note: The location is a bit remote; while peaceful, it often required a 20-minute drive to get anywhere. Also, the motorbike rental through the property was slightly more expensive than average. Lastly, although rooms are meant to be cleaned every three days, ours wasn't cleaned during our stay—possibly due to a staff day off which was a bit disappointing.

I Lay House - Did Not Stay! + Decided not to stay because I booked a room with shared outside bathroom. Was offered an upgrade for 1200 baht per night but declined because not worth the cost. Location is good on a big beach − The upgraded room offered was not worth 1200 baht per night. Politely asked the manager lady if any refund of the original booking was available. She was very dismissive and curt. We find somewhere else cheaper with a nicer room and cheaper than Ilay

+ Die Lage ist wirklich supi. Der Strand wird auch ganz gut sauber gehalten und man ist dort sehr abgeschottet. Die Zimmer waren auch wirklich vollkommen ausreichend und die Betten waren schön weich. Ein Servicepunkt gibt es dennoch... Es gab jeden Tag ein Beutel mit 2x Wasser, 2x Softdrinks und Knabberzeug. − Das Personal war nicht wirklich bemüht darum, dass es den Gästen gut geht. Sehr abweisend und nicht serviceorientiert. Ja es ist kein Resort, aber trotzdem sollte man doch um das Wohl der Urlauber bemüht sein. Beim Frühstück war es den Mitarbeitern auch zu viel, etwas nachzufüllen.... Und so zog es sich durch.

Un cadre magnifique et paradisiaque avec un bungalow complètement correct mais qui est gâché par un personnel désagréabl + L’emplacement sur la plage est paradisiaque. Le bungalow complètement conforme aux attentes avec tout le confort nécessaire. − Le personnel est désagréable et les services laissent à désirer. Nous avions constamment l’impression de déranger par exemple quand ma conjointe est en difficulté avec deux valises à porter et que le personnel la regarde et dit non à la patronne pour l’aider. De plus les horaires du restaurant sont faites en fonction de leur humeur, ( on nous dit de venir avant 19h30, nous arrivons un peu avant 19h et le restaurant était fermé, heureusement qu’il y avait un autre resort ouvert juste à côté).

LOCATION is incredible, hotel is medicore to poor compared to the others at the beach. + the Location was out of this world, the beach was incredible, the water was so hot, it was almost like jacuzzi. − the staff was rude, on the brink of passive agressive not very helpful on planning activities. we asked for help booking a snorkling trip we were advised to rethink going because of the weather. the weather turned out to be perfect, and they did not want to help us book snorkling, so we had to go to the hotel next door to go snorkling that day, really did not improve our experience at the hotel. im a huge foodie, so food is important for the quality of my vacation, and this was the poorest food i had in my entire trip to thailand.

The resort and staff spoiled my holiday and experience of the island + Location − During my stay, I experienced several serious problems: - I found multiple cockroaches inside my room. - My room was not cleaned during my stay. - When I politely requested a room change and offered to pay extra, the staff behaved aggressively and unwillingly changed the room. - The resort rented me a motorbike without providing a helmet or checking the bike. - The motorbike stopped working far from the resort despite having fuel which I filled the completely empty tank I was given. Several Thai people and tourists attempted to start it and believed there was a battery or remote problem. - The resort repeatedly failed to answer phone calls when I requested assistance and in general the resort doesn’t answer calls. - I was forced to pay 200 baht for a taxi back to the accommodation. - Upon returning, the owner shouted aggressively at me and blamed me for the situation, even though she was informed by Tha…
