Wannabe sports hotel - overpriced + The 50 pools are great − It is essentially a wannabe "La Santa". Sports facilities are ok but not great. The sports offering is suboptimal, infrequent. The bike shop does not really help with rentals, repairs, routes or anything that a "bike shop" should do. The pools are not very clean. All three of us ended up with ear infections (I have never had one before). The rooms are low value for money (for a third more, you can stay at the JW Marriott down the road). There is a real chaos with trying to get towels or gym access (they take your room key to give you a towel so you cannot get into the room as long as you have a towel for the pool or access to the gym). The food is very expensive and it is the only thing you have access to. The location is horrible (far away from anything, so without a car you are completely lost). They are VERY stuck in their ways, not flexible when it comes to bookings. I booked for almost 3 weeks and they would let me mov…

Enjoyed it but see above + Really good facilities for sport and relaxation. Nice "boutique" hotel with top sports just over the footbridge − Weak or invisible management. Very willing staff trying their best but without any sign of guidance or leadership. Big weakness

− Очень люблю этот отель и приезжаю сюда уже не первый раз. Но, к сожалению, в этот раз возникло несколько неприятных моментов. Главный 50-метровый бассейн почему-то перестали охлаждать, и вода была слишком тёплой для полноценных тренировок. Приходилось несколько раз обращаться к персоналу по этому поводу. Также сломалась машина для льда. Несколько раз утром льда не было совсем, хотя для тренировочного процесса он очень необходим. Надеюсь, что эти моменты исправят, потому что в остальном отель по-прежнему оставляет очень приятное впечатление.

+ Most of the facilities are nice. The food is okay. − Staff were unusually unhelpful. I stayed to play tennis and there was a tournament on that weekend so I couldn't play. Also, the team made me feel very unwelcome to join the tennis clinic the following day.

Excellent sports holiday + Excellent sport facilities. We had a wonderful stay for swimming, tennis and fitness. We had Garden Wing connecting rooms that were large, very clean, well-appointed. Will definitely come back. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Parking is available. − The booking system for classes and coaches. You need to sign up early (well before you arrive) to book your classes or sessions with coaches. It would be easier if this could be done online or via an app.

Head to toe recharged and well-rested + Complimentary classes. Pro-grade facilities. − Location is far from city center or other tourist attractions, but you should be coming for the sports and wellness instead so it is a calculated trade-off.
