+ I recommend this resort only if you do not plan on going anywhere else in Phi Phi, otherwise it is super inconvenient. I did not realize the boat that takes you to the resort only goes until 5:30PM, so we didn’t get to see Phi Phi at night. The only things to do in the resort are eat and drink. You cannot really get into the water because the shoreline is extremely rocky and you will be stepping on jagged rock as you're in the water. There’s also a ton of sea urchin. The people of Thailand are extremely friendly, but the staff here seemed to be different. They were not very helpful when we had a few questions and they just seemed inconvenienced by tourists on the resort. While it had beautiful views, I would have chosen a different place to stay if I knew what I know now.

+ Great staff, lovely!.except the “ tourist guide “ that explains the morning routines of your fault full day tour. The facility it should not n be qualified as resort but a hotel. Property needs a lot of improvement, on the exterior and on the interior of the rooms. And they need to put “ No swimming signs” on areas where they know is dangerous for us tourists. I did swim next to the are and got stuck in a bunch of sea urchins and I was bad for 2 nights 3 days, once I got back to the city I had to go to hospital, doctor said , spines should be removed immediately but staff just put oil on it. Please be careful.

Prachtige locatie, heerlijk eten en vriendelijk personeel + You don’t have to live like a saint and die to get to paradise. I’ll write this review in English specially for the wonderful staff of Phi Phi Relax resort. Only a short fare with a longtailboat from Tonsay Pier takes you to heaven. A beautiful, quiet and private resort with affordable and beautifully decorated cocktails (all TBH 200,-) a private beach, freshly prepared food (Pad Thai only TBH 150,-) and romantic bungalows right at the shore. We were on honeymoon with our toddler (1,5 y.o) and the staff took care of her during dinner and other occasions and overloaded her with love and attention. During rainseason the prices are more than affordable and we had a beautiful, clean and romantic bungalow only a few meters from the private beach. We enjoyed free yoga classes in the morning by (almost) resident Sabine from the Netherlands, played soccer with the staff (everyday at 17.00 sharp) and enjoyed the peace and quiet of thi…

Dated and Very Expensive + Extremely expensive for what it is - the older bungalows are the same airless beach huts which just a few years ago were $15USD a night. I get that Phiphi has changed and so has Thailand, but when you're getting to the point of charging people $200USD a night for staying in an old beach hut with no Air Conditioning it would be at least polite to do stuff like add mosquito screens to the windows... or repair the toilet seat which wasn't attached to the bowl... or repair the lock on the door so the door could be closed from the inside. The provided mosquito nets over the beds are also ridiculous, made of heavy material which means that no breeze penetrates through them. They're also full of holes. For $15 it's all quite a nice bit of a laugh... at $200USD it leaves a really nasty taste in your mouth. The restaurant isn't bad at serving the usual Thai tourist slops...but you can do much better in Thailand for 1/10 of the price.

Worst hotel experience ever + I will mention only the MAIN points (although I have a lot more) Great disappointment. This place is the opposite of relax - 180 degrees from relaxing Worst hotel / resort experience ever. Worst unwelcoming sevice. A VERY slow and VERY noisy boat from the pier to the hotel - more than 25 minutes a side. In order to go to the center where the “action” is and to come back to the hotel - Very expensive charge for this unfriendly boat. You should know your travel purpose - staying here, you will be isolated from the fan of the center, beaches nightlife etc.. unless taking this experience expensive small noisy slow boat. In general the service is bad (the staff are doing their job. Some are very nice) but i guess the guidlines they got are bad. ZERO facility Again - i am mentioning only part of the points Need to beg for clean towels instead of the wet unclean ones. Need to beg also for a soap. Not even a small refrigerator in the room. Bad wifi which disc…

Filthy room, bad property, theif at front desk + The room was awful, mosquitos inside. Got bit immediately after getting into the room and showering. We were there for 30 mins and the power/ a/c shut off twice. We left immediately and went somewhere else, but the property kept my money. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT STAY HERE. You also have to hike up uneven concrete stairs to get to your room. The grounds are run down and over grown with lots of bugs. Shady place, shady owners. If you try to leave early and show your bites, the thief at the front desk will steal your money and call you a liar. Pay a little extra and stay at a nicer place. 2 star "resort" for a reason.

+ This was an amazing property on the other side of Koh Phi Phi. You had to take a long tail to get over to the resort which means that it wasn’t in the middle of all the madness. It was a more private secluded beach, but you could still longtail over to the pier and have fun on Phi Phi if you wanted to and then get back to your own little resort that wasn’t surrounded by 1000 people screaming and partying really enjoyed it beautiful little bungalows to sleep in great food at the main area. My wife and I loved it.

Frankie says…….. + The name says it all……relax! You arrive and leave by boat (speedboat if lucky) as the resort is remote, away from everything else with the only way to reach the main town by boat or a long, tricky at times walk that no one should attempt in the dark. Just what we wanted so being cut off from elsewhere for a few days was perfect. However, it doesn’t mean you are stuck like Robinson Crusoe as the resort has numerous boat trips/shuttle boats to different islands and/or to the main town if you really need to escape. Rooms (huts) are basic with bathroom, double bed, plugs, fans and mosquito nets. Some newer ones have AC but ours were fine with two big fans. Some reviews say the mosquito nets are too thick and useless however ours were fine (we had three huts between six of us). The service and food is excellent. Plenty of choice including burgers and pasta if that’s your thing. Food prices are very reasonable. Not much more than anywhere else. All the staff (and there…

This has a huge WOW factor + This was our first visit to Thailand, so after visiting cities, this resort certainly lived up to its name. A longtail boat transfer from the pier, took us to this magnificent resort. It had so much wow factor, felt like a dream come true. The beach was so clean, the water so clear and warm, the views, the accommodation, the selection of food and the staff all contributed toward a magnificent 4 nights we shall never forget. We took the trek to the viewpoint too, from the resort. I don't want to spoil the surprise, but it is totally worth the hike. We continued the hike back to the pier area where there is lots of hussle and bussle with a great vibe, but personally we loved heading back to our resort to totally relax. Was a great experience, one we would love others to share, hence this review.

+ This hotel is perfect if you want simplicity, good service, good food, and quiet relaxation in a close-to-nature setting. We loved our simple little bungalow right in the perfect beach.

Beautiful place with amazing staff + We spent six nights at Phi Phi Relax resort. We were a bit unlucky with the weather most of the days, with rain, strong winds and lots of clouds, which we were told was very unusual. I also had a very bad stomach for one and a half day, but the staff was so nice and helpful, both to my husband, who had to eat his meals alone, and to me bringing medicine and rice soup and being very caring Thank you, Laura, and all the rest of you. Be aware, that when you arrive on the longtail boat, you will get wet, when you get off, as there is no pier. So shorts are recommended. Also, it is good to bring some bathing shoes, as there are quite a few rocks in the water. When the water is clear, you will see them (and a lot of fish), but on windy days, bathing shoes are nice to have. The beach is beautiful, and as you can only get to this resort by boat or about one hours walk, it is very quiet and nice. We had a very nice bungalow right on the beach, with a wonder…

Worst Experience in. Thailand + Worst accommodation of the 12 hotels we stayed at while traveling in Thailand the last 35 days. When checking in we we're not told about anything, just sent to our room. We tried to ask questions with the staff and they ignored us, while half of them either played soccer on the beach or smoked behind the restaurant. ( I have photos) We were eating dinner at a table near the bar and an old women who does massages started sweeping and sand and dust went into our food and we asked her to stop and she didn't (I have a video of this). So paid for a meal we didn't eat. The property was dirty (photos to show). the beach was nice but the boats would pull up to where the guests sat and leave the boats running with the terrible fumes. Went for a walk to the viewing point and we were chased aggressively by at least 25-35 monkeys. We read not to feed the monkeys not that they were very aggressive, which they were (videos of this as well) We had such a terri…

dilapidated hotel + If I could have given the hotel less I would have. The mosquito nets were broken in several places, we had expected to come and feel a relaxed atmosphere, but we have only felt like money machines, and the friendliness is nowhere to be found. The hotel has deteriorated greatly since I was here 7 years ago, the place and the atmosphere are completely unrecognizable, really a shame

immersed in nature + I stayed here for 12 days as a getaway from the northern winter. Spent my days in the sea snorkeling and swimming at sunset . Seen so many beautiful fish and a few curious sharks. And i kayaked to other nearby beaches. Drank GT at night watching the waves crashing on the shore and the crabs dancing on the sand. lay on my cabin balcony at night and listened to the sounds of the jungle as the day ended. Some days the tide was to far out are the sea was rough so I had a trek through the jungle to the view points and explored some hidden paths and the port. Come across troops of curious monkeys and many beautiful butterfly's and birds . Other days I took a boat trip are jumped on the ferry and had a day in Phuket to break it up. I enjoyed the food in the hotel and found it reasonable price and the catering staff where fantastic all great service . The staff work hard its a community of people who are making a living best they can and it can be hit and miss a…
