Good Location, Service, Breakfast, Fitness Center and Large Room + This hotel is in a very good location. The night market is around the corner and the Old City is just a 10 minute walk. The room and bathroom were very large. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was quite extensive with local and traditional cuisines which also included soups, salads and desserts. There were also omelettes and noodle stations. The breakfast should be described as a brunch. The Fitness Center was one of the largest I have ever seen in a hotel. The locker room included a sauna, steam room and soaking tubs. The hotel was clean; however, it does need a renovation. The hotel's value for price was very good.

Excellent value hotel in a wonderful location + Friendly staff Size of room. location in heart of the night market Views from the floor The aircon was excellent The decor was very appealing and I just loved having the choice of 4 lounge chairs plus one sofa! It was value for money indeed Breakfast had an extensive spread in a nice, clean and spacious dining room. I did like the Dilmah tea! − Reception area looked tired and in need of a refresh to best represent the excellent condition of the guest rooms. Carpet in hallways looking very worn and in need of replacement; my heart sank when I saw the carpet outside my room but lifted considerably once I entered my room for the first time! I would have liked more Western options (eg full English breakfast options) for breakfast.

+ The location is very strategic and very near to a lot of shops. The room is really comfy especially the pillow. while for the breakfast, there a variety of food that you can choose. − the wifi speed need an improvement

+ Once a grand hotel, now a little dated but still comfortable and good value for money, good gymn for workouts and an excellent pool. Great location for the night market and a 10 minute walk to the old city area (but, if you are male, expect a couple of dozens calls for 'massage=kah' on your way there). − Television in room was small and had nothing in English but for one news channel. A larger screen and a movie channel would have been good.

+ L'emplacement et la gentillesse de certains membres du personnel. − Absence de retour parfois . Mon fils a cassé un verre dans la chambre. Nous l'avons notifié au lobby après avoir tenté d'avoir ie house keeping en vain. Il nous a été dit que quelqu'un viendrait mais personne n'est venu. J'avais déjà tenté un nettoyage mais en l'absence de balais je n'ai pu vérifier qu'il n'y avait pas de plus petits débris.

Would stay here again. + The hotel is in a good location , right by the night bazaar. There is a 7/11 shop across the road. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a good selection of food for the breakfast buffet, which caters for Western and Asian tastes. I have stayed in this hotel before. − The car park has low ceilings and tight corners to drive around, if you are driving a large or 4x4 vehicle, be carefull.
