Relaxing! + We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh options. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Overall, a fantastic hotel that we would highly recommend. We would definitely come back!

The best!!!! + We had such an amazing time here. Incredible service, an oasis in the middle of a busy city, and Ms. Tuck was our personal point of contact who arranged everything for us on the spot — from a football for the kids to an iPhone stand. The food was fantastic as well. Everything was super clean! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic Experience + Absolutely fantastic experience at 137 Pillars. All staff was incredibile helpful throughout our stay, from preparing breakfast boxes for our early morning adventure days, to helping us with dinner reservations, spa appointments we had the best time. The amenities were fantastic, the gym was very cool, the pool was excellent and all drinks and food we had was top notch. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay.

Our Honeymoon at 137 Pillars + My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Thailand going to Bangkok, Chang Mai, and Phuket. We both agree Chang Mai was our favorite stop for several reasons, but the main reason being 137 Pillars House. From the beginning, the service was extraordinary. The staff cared for our wants and needs, including our wonderful butler, Tuck. Whenever we need something or a recommendation, she was able to provide it for us. The minute we got into our room, we felt so special. They had a cake, mango, and a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate our honeymoon. We felt that kindness and generosity during the duration of our stay. One of the servers we interacted with during our stay, Torch, was incredibly thoughtful. We had a private dinner and he was our waiter providing us a marvelous meal. Amazing Oasis in Chiang Mai + 137 Pillars House was the perfect start to our honeymoon. The hotel is absolutely beautiful: peaceful, elegant, and truly an oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai. What made the stay especially memorable was the incredible staff with notable mention of Ray, who went above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations, seamless help throughout our trip, and genuinely warm hospitality. Every interaction felt personal and caring. We left wishing we could stay longer and cannot wait to return!

Lovely stay in Chiang Mai + We stayed at 137 Pillars while on vacation in Chiang Mai. The resort is fabulous, within walking distance to many activities. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly. Big shout out to our concierge Toto, who recommended several wonderful experiences. Well worth the visit.

[The Best Hospitality] Tuck, who took care of us throughout our stay, was truly wonderful. Her thoughtful attention, genuine kindness, and prompt responses to every request made our stay incredibly comfortable. Every member of the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and treated us with genuine, natural kindness. Their sense of balance was absolutely perfect—never too close, yet never too distant. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. The history, the original house, the architecture and the way everything has been so beautifully preserved make it feel completely unique. There are plenty of beautiful luxury hotels in the world, but 137 Pillars has something that is much harder to find. It has real character, warmth and soul. What really makes this hotel, though, is the people. Our butler, Tuck, was amazing. From the moment we arrived, she looked after us so well and made everything feel effortless. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there when we needed her without ever being intrusive. Chiang Mai heaven + This hotel is sublime. The attention to detail is exceptional, and there are too many special little touches to mention... & it's more fun to discover them for yourself. The breakfast is delicious, and beautifully presented. Gorgeous rooms, grounds and facilities - it's hard to leave each day to go and explore. There is a dedicated staff member to help you with anything you need and the service overall is fantastic. I can't fault this hotel & would wholeheartedly urge anyone travelling to Chiang Mai to experience this beautiful piece of history.

+ the friendliest, most helpful staff. rooms (and the hotel grounds in general) are much prettier in-person. turn down service with the bedtime stories was such a cute touch! also our butler Toto had the best recommendations and secured restaurant reservations for us even if we requested them at the very last minute. loved every moment of our stay :) − spa treatments were super expensive and not worth the money unfortunately :(
