A beautiful resort with warm hospitality that truly felt like a home away from home. + Our stay at Khum Phaya Resort & Spa was absolutely wonderful. The resort is genuinely beautiful, with lush surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel completely removed from the busy city. Everything was very well maintained and thoughtfully looked after, and the entire property had a warm, comfortable feeling that made it feel almost like a home away from home. What really stood out to us, however, was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, attentive and hardworking, and the service was consistently efficient without ever feeling impersonal. A special thank you to Mr. Wut, who was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to assist us whenever we needed anything and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. His kindness really made a difference to our experience. Overall, Khum Phaya was one of the highlights of our Chiang Mai trip. …

Very nice stay, the restaurant is so so. But acceptible. + We made the mistake of booking the Lanna Villa which was a big mistake. You should book the normal rooms by the pool. Very nice. We changed to these rooms after two days. Since we had already pain we didn’t get any refund. Which is typical. − See above

Prachtig hotel + Het hotel zag er prachtig uit. Heel organisch, veel planten, prachtig zwembad. De kamer was heel groot en comfortabel met een leuk balkon dat uitgeeft op het mooie zwembad. − /

+ Khum è un resort che ti fa vivere una realtà completamente immersa nella natura. Dalla piccola cascata all’ingresso, caratterizzato da una suggestiva capanna in legno, fino alle camere in stile bungalow con letto a baldacchino e vista diretta sulla piscina, ogni dettaglio ti fa sentire davvero dentro l’atmosfera di Chiang Mai. Il cinguettio degli uccelli al mattino e il gracidio delle rane la sera rendono l’esperienza ancora più autentica. Oltre alla cura delle camere, alla pulizia impeccabile e al buonissimo ristorante interno, Khum regala quella sensazione di pace e tranquillità che spesso si cerca durante un viaggio. Nada recomendable + El gimnasio − Instalaciones muy anticuadas. Muy apartado de la civilización. De noche da verdadero miedo. Mosquitos aplastados contra la pared del cuarto. La señora de recepción (no saludaba, nada colaborativa, etc…) El servicio de lavandería,además de ser carísimo (30 € por tres camisetas y dos pantalones cortos,mucho más caro que en España aunque el nivel de vida sea muy inferior), me estropearon prendas muy caras (que ya no tienen solución)y además de no devolverme el dinero, decían que ellos no habían sido…

We were stunned when we arrived by the service and the entire outlook of the resort. + The most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in. The garden is magical, room is excellent. The reastaurant is also delicious. − It’s a little far from the city. The brekfast was partially buffet, but the fresh warm meals (e.g. omlett, thai food) had to be ordered from the menu, probably because there wasn’t enough gustes at the time. It was still delicious and highly recommend the resort!

Quiet stay in Chiang mai + The hotel was clean and quiet, and access to the pool made our stay unforgettable. Hotel staff are polite, and we enjoyed happy hour by the pool. The breakfast buffets were great (Thai, Western, and healthy options). We also ate dinner at the restaurant, and their foods (kao soi noodles, Hung Lay, and mango with sticky rice) were great. We ate there twice. − The hotel is a bit out of town ( 10-15 min taxi ride, depending on the traffic) so if you like to stay in town to enjoy night life, it may not be the place for you.

Great place. Would definitely return + The staff were amazing and very accommodating. They even decorated the bedroom for my wife's birthday. The pool is great. It's a short drove from the old town. The breakfast is decent. − We booked on booking.com for 2 adults and a child, but when we arrived at the hotel we were told we would have to pay around £25 a night for an extra bed.
