Wouldn’t go back. + We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. In every hotel we stayed in, some complimentary thing was offered if we stayed more than 3 nts. For 4, we got upgraded rooms. Here, not even a complimentary drink! It looks nice & not saying the service is bad, employees were all v nice, but I don’t think it’s worth the price. In the very plus side, we got there around 9am & they gave us our room. That’s the best thing I can say about this stay. The room was disappointing. It was very small. It had no windows that you could see the actual sunlight, but it had flimsy curtains that wouldn’t completely blackout the light. Bathroom had no ventilation and flimsy doors that really didn’t give any privacy. The lights were very dim inside, so you couldn’t read an actual book in there! The pool was ok. The area around it felt cramped. The breakfast was ok. Some mornings seemed that there was not enough people working. No one to refill a cup of coffee! I really wouldn’t go back.

Great restaurant! + We were not staying at the hotel but had dinner at the restaurant . They have an extensive Thai menu and dishes were delicious with large portions. Staff were very attentive and the setting is in a beautiful room overlooking the pool. Highly recommended!

Incredibly generous and kind staff, fantastic location, a fantastic stay for our family! + The staff was so kind, helpful and flexible. They went above and beyond for our family by helping us with our travel plans, finding our lost items, and were so generous with the activities for our kids, making things work with our schedule. − We were on the bottom floor and the upstairs guests were quite noisy. We could hear them and had difficulty sleeping. The staff was very accommodating and tried their best to help the situation.

Beautiful lanna style stay in the heart of Chiang Mai + This place does everything for guests to have a wonderful stay. The highlight for us was the free walking tour with staff member Lucky. But also the rest of the resort is beautiful with wonderful trees-plants, reception area, restaurant and perfect pool. Possibly the only downside is that our room was a bit dark and with a sloping roof which is a little tricky for a tall Dutchman.

Prachtige oase midden in stad + Prachtige groene oase midden in Chiang Mai. Mooie complex rondom een 200 jaar oude tamarinde boom. − De bar en restaurant zijn echt extreem duur. Denk 10 euro voor een Thais biertje. Daarom maken ook maar weinig mensen gebruik van die faciliteiten en dat haalt toch wel een beetje de sfeer weg in de namiddag / avond.

+ La ubicación es perfecta, en pleno centro de Chiang Mai y muy cerca de los principales puntos de interés, pero al mismo tiempo el hotel transmite mucha tranquilidad. La habitación era muy bonita, limpia y muy cómoda. Por la noche no se escuchaba absolutamente nada, así que descansamos muy bien. El desayuno era muy completo, con mucha variedad y productos de calidad. La piscina también es muy grande y bonita, ideal para relajarse. − Lo único que no me gustó fue que la piscina estaba llena de niños gritando y jugando durante bastante tiempo, por lo que era difícil relajarse y descansar allí. Quizá sería buena idea establecer algunas franjas horarias más tranquilas o reservar una zona de la piscina para quienes buscan descansar.

Green oasis of calm in busy Chiang Mai + Tamarind Village is a welcome oasis off the plane from the uk with jetlag and from walking the bustling streets of Chiang Mai. Its gentle and cooling green charm with the wonderful Tamarind tree and all flowers and plants is so special. The staff were also gentle and friendly and everything was impeccable. Luscious cooling pool for swimming and relaxing. Delicious and diverse food for breakfast and dinner. My family and I also loved the craft activities and very interesting and historic village walk. I would recommend Tamarind Village as a great place to stay and return to. − Everything was gorgeous!

Lovely traditional looking hotel in centre of Chaing Mai + Stayed here 4 nights in total with a 2 night break in between to go to Elephant Bush Camp. They offered to keep our big cases stored to save us having to take them to Bush Camp. We were given 2 different rooms, both lovely. The only criticism of the first was the lighting- very dim. The second room had been recently renovated I believe and much brighter. I loved the hotel vibe - quiet, traditional, and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend staying here if visiting Chaing Mai- great location and lovely pool.

Lovely stay! + It was an amazing stay! This was a lovely hotel filled with green plants and felt as though it was full of nature (despite the fact it was in the centre of the old city). Good location, with lovely rooms - would recommend for anyone! Staff were helpful and there is a spa for those who wish to use it. There is a Large pool. Breakfast served pancakes - what more could you ask for?

Une parenthèse enchantée dans un petit paradis terrestre. + Bel écrin dans un environnement vert très soigné. Tranquillité et luxe sans ostentation : la classe. Personnel aux petits soins et attentifs, d’une gentillesse et d’une attention rare. Coup de cœur ! − Je regrette le prix des excursions proposées par l’hôtel : elles sont très chères mais de qualités.

You really feel in Chiang Mai, Thailand + They pay attention to even the smallest details to make you feel like you’re truly in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Both the breakfast and dinner are delicious. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, always greeting you with a warm smile. The location is excellent. − The Wi-Fi disconnects every time you lock your phone, so having to enter your username and password repeatedly becomes quite frustrating. The room is very small. It’s beautifully designed, with tasteful details and charming decor, but there are so many decorative elements that they take up much of the already limited space, both in the room and in the bathroom. As a result, it never really feels comfortable—you don’t have enough room to move around or to put your belongings. The pillows are either too firm or too soft; having a medium-firm option would make a big difference.
