Wonderful Stay in Koh Samui + My husband and I spent four nights at Garrya Tongsai Bay after starting our Thailand holiday in Bangkok. We were welcomed with private transportation at the Koh Samui airport, complete with water and cold towels. The check-in process was relaxing and took place on a terrace overlooking the ocean. We stayed in a seaview hillside pool suite. While not as large as some of the villas, it was extremely spacious and included a private pool with two lounge chairs. All the accommodations seem lovingly maintained and were clearly well-built to begin with. We’ve stayed in Four Seasons properties as well as The Standard Hua Hin (right after it was built) and this was our favorite. The resort isn’t super large, so the employees and our fellow guests quickly started to look familiar. Fabulous stay + Our stay at Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. The entire team was incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive throughout our stay — nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every interaction came with a sincere smile. An exceptional hotel + We stayed at the Garrya for 8 nights The level of personal service displayed by all staff at this hotel was excellent. We stayed in a beachfront room with a lovely sea view. The level of cleanliness of the room was faultless. We ate at Rhoy Rhoy and Fish Tales restaurants on site and were blown away by the quality of the food at both restaurants. We attended the Beach BBQ and were stunned by the food and the fire display.( well worth it). The breakfast,as has been mentioned by other contributors,provides a memorable start to your day here. Could I mention here Kookik, Rain and Reen, who provided friendly attentive service here. At Fish Tails Obb and Fon provided smiling service. We did the cookery course provided by the hotel. We visited the hotel’s vegetable garden accompanied by Tang , who gave us an informative show around. Great second time stay in Garrya. + It’s our second time in Garrya, a very nice place, inside a park. Rooms are clean, big, with view to the sea. Our room had a private pool. In addition there are 2 swimming pools, path to the sea, and a yoga room. The service is excellent. Breakfasts are great.

Best of the Best + This was our 12th stay at Tongsai and it didn't disappoint. From the moment you enter the driveway it is like you have never been away. A home from home. You feel instant relaxation The hotel is truly incredible, the accommodation and surroundings are breath taking. This is why we keep coming back year after year. What really makes the hotel is the staff, Every single person who works here cares. They cannot do enough for you. They really want to make your stay as memorable as possible and they truly deliver. We have visited a number of 5 star hotels all over the world and nothing compares to the personal service you receive here. As soon as I get back I am wanting to rebook for the following year which is a true testament to the managers Mark and Manuel and all of the staff. Tropical Retreat in Samui + Our fourth stay at Tongsai Bay, and our feelings remain exactly the same. It is still everything we’ve come to love about this place. The setting, the atmosphere, the way the resort blends so naturally into its surroundings. Nothing feels forced, nothing feels overdone. It just works. The villas are as comfortable and peaceful as ever, the food continues to be excellent across the restaurants, and the overall experience is consistently high quality. What really sets Tongsai apart, though, is the feeling it gives you. Calm, unhurried, and genuinely relaxing. It is very easy to slip into the rhythm of the place and completely switch off. A very special thank you to Ao, Sakrai, Reen, Rain, Su, Tang, Kookik, Nano, Obb, Fon, Don, Cha and Pu for looking after us so well throughout our stay. Returning for a fourth time says more than anything else we could put into words. See you again soon!

Excellent Resort + Excellent service from hotel staff upon check-in to the end. Breakfast has good spread os local and international buffet. Private beach with free sea activities like kayaking and paddling. The room is spacious and clean, although with some hints of aging. Some pumping noise at night in the beach front suites. Overall had an enjoyable and fantastic stay at Garrya Tongsai Bay.

Taste of paradise + This resort is absolutely amazing, a taste of Paradise. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the best we have ever come across. The resort is gorgeous, food was amazing and our accommodation was clean, comfortable, private and had an amazing sea view. Watching the sunrise every morning was magical.

Exceptional nice + Boutique top hotel with only around 75 rooms. Fullfilled all our expectations on friendliness, service, nice room, excellent food, private beach in a green environment on the highest level. We can only highly recommend and plan already when we can come back.

A truly perfect stay at the Garrya Tongsai Bay. + We stayed here on a 10 day holiday in February 26. It truly was a relaxing holiday where we felt welcomed and valued. The accommodation we chose was the seafront suite. It was spacious and comfortable with a glorious outlook over the bay. The food was outstanding with events and tastings adding to this amazing experience. All of the staff were a credit to the establishment. We found everyone to be friendly, polite, professional and helpful. Any request for help was met with an immediate response and resolution. The resort has many interest based activities which are free to enjoy ( gym, yoga, kayaking, paddlebording, snorkeling, swimming). We loved our time here so much that within days of returning home, we booked to revisit in February 27. This resort comes hightly recommended.

Superb resort in all aspects - A must stay + My last visit to Tongsai Bay was in 2009 and it is beyond me why I waited so long to return. I could literally feel the stress drain from my body the moment I arrived and the ensuing serenity lasted my entire stay. My partner and I are already looking into dates for our return next year if not sooner. What makes this resort special is the beautiful location and the outstanding staff who strive in a non-intrusive manner to ensure your every need is met. The food is amazing and the food and beverage staff take absolute pride in their work. If you are fortunate to be staying on a Saturday night, don't miss out on the Thai Street Food BBQ Buffet as there are so many different Thai dishes that are carefully prepared and absolutely worth discovering - I'm hungry just thinking about it!! Staff, food, accommodations- all 100%! + The resort was amazing - beautiful location, so many small details made it an over the top experience. Food was great - fresh and local - and we loved that you could have a beach chair situated by both the beach and the pool. What truly made it, though, was the staff – they went above and beyond in every way. I would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday destination.

Peaceful Thai Beach Resort + A delightful resort with attentiveness of Staff the highlight. We stayed 10 nights and thoroughly recommend. A few points: Three very good restaurants with excellent range of Thai dishes and beautiful breakfast. Large, inviting pool and another more secluded adult pool further up the hill. Gym is reasonably sparse but adequate. Beach hire was good with two paddle boards and kayaks plus yacht. Be mindful there are lots of steps but staff drive buggies whenever needed. Rooms excellent quality and servicing.

Another fantastic stay! + My husband and I had yet another fantastic stay in the 'Hideaway' at Tongsai. This places never ceases to amaze me. The staff are just out of the world and really make the place. Wonderful massages, great food and stunning views. The 'hideaway' is a little bit of a longer walk with some steps but oh mu goodness the views and privacy are so worth it. If you are thinking about booking do it you won't be disappointed. A superb resort, utterly serene, welcoming, and a joy to return to as often as we can. + I have just completed the hotel's survey following our return from this amazing hotel and resort, our fifth visit in 15 years. But other people need to learn of what we said to management. Their hotel needs to be shared. I truly hope I have not missed anyone out in the appreciation commentary. What a place + We had a wonderful time at this hotel 18th-23rd March. The staff were so attentive and the breakfast was amazing. They upgraded our room to a pool one for the last 2 nights and we received a free one hour massage. A great place.
