Overpriced, lots of issues + Great location, lovely staff, room service good. Close to Jungceylon shops and an easy walk to the beach. We had a 2 br suite on 22nd floor. View was amazing and suite was lovely. But the aircon was ineffective, there was no hot water, and the shower delivered 10 mins worth of black water. The power points only worked when they felt like it which made it difficult to charge appliances. We asked for the problems to be fixed and they weren’t. The pool was really nice and clean, but the nightclub doof doof vibe from the pool bar was not relaxing for us. You could hear all the noise from Bangla Road which stopped at midnight- might bother some people. I know it’s Thailand and Patong and we expect some challenges but $900 AUD for 2 nights was way overpriced for our experience.

Nearly, But Not Quite There Yet + 3.5 Stars First, let me say that I enjoyed my stay at The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa, and I would likely stay there again. It's in a great location, just minutes away from Walking Street and several excellent restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is gorgeous and well maintained. It's in the middle of a remodel, which I feel will add to its esthetics once it's complete. I can't go on with the review without mentioning an upsetting incident during check-in. I arrived at the hotel around 13:30 (check-in is at 14:00) and was told my room wasn't ready. I had booked one of the luxury suites on a high floor so I understood that it's very possible previous guests might have requested late check-out. No problem. I went to the bar and grabbed a drink. At 13:55, I returned to the front desk and was told my room would be ready in five minutes, right at 14:00. I thought that was odd, but I waited. At 14:00, I was told my room still wasn't ready, but I could opt…

+ Fantastic Staff and clean comfortable rooms. Have stayed here before 7 years ago and loved it then. Only downside is the night club noise at night but I already new that before I booked. Will definitely be back again 😀🙏

+ The Royal Paradise is convenient to Bangla Walking Street and Patong Beach, but the area is old and run down. The room they provided on the 17th floor was remodeled and had a good view, but they were re-doing other rooms on this floor, so the hallway was torn up with construction work the entire week we were there. The lobby and pool area were ok, as was the breakfast area, but the breakfast was low quality, and the staff need better customer service training. We dropped this hotel one additional star because they wanted to charge an additional 200 Bhat for a one-hour late check-out. Not a great request for off-season guests who just spent a week in a construction zone.

Very friendly staff great building. + I tell you what, it is a great place and well situated. The facilities are good and hold great value for money. You also get to meet the General Manager Anuchai every morning at the breakfast. No better way to tell him what you think. Staffing is a big part of the service you need for a holiday. Ask for Nuk and Namram for a great omelette. Siri is a fresh face in the morning to set your day. Nothing is too hard for Pon and his concierge team. Phuket is very easy with their professional help. This place is more than a nice bed and great food...it is the people.

+ All staff were fantastic, friendly, very helpful, and remembered you from one day to the next, the pool could be very noisy and even intimidating at times in the afternoon with groups of people making it hard for those wanting to relax. Every guestI encountered mentioned their difficulty in navigating the steep ramp to enter the Royal wing from the lobby, if a travelator was put in here it might cost a lot but would pay off in return guests, the ramp is so steep as to be dangerous.

+ Such a great stay, the noise can be an issue at times but if you get a room that is pool facing should be ok, overall, very nice hotel and great location!!

Good value and well located + The location of this hotel was excellent. It was close to the Jungceylon shopping complex and the tourist markets. Bangla road and the beach were within walking distance. I found the staff to be very helpful and most efficient during our stay. The buffet breakfast was of a high quality with a large variety of choices. The room was clean and comfortable although the beds were on a raised platform which made it a little difficult to easily use them. We stayed in the Royal Wing which had to be accessed via a steep ramp which would present some difficulty for persons with mobility problems. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Worst experience in Thailand + Worst experience in my life/ receptionist staff treated us very badly upon check in and we can not enjoy the rest of the vocation. I don’t need super extra care but at least just respect as a human. I regret to choose this hotel.

Very Good Experience + The hotel is stunning and everyone is really nice. Perfect location as well. Would recommend to everyone. Only downfall was the loudness outside made it a little difficult to sleep every other day. Apart from that, it was amazing and would recommend to anyone.

Good location + The location is great, close to the beach, Bangla Road however the room was very dated and bathroom didn't look as pictured. Breakfast was great, fitting towards more middle east, asian culture however many great options around too which may be cheaper. Facilities were beautiful however keeping them clean and kept would be a plus.

Nice but need maintenance. + The room was nice and spacious. We were three adults, and the family room with two queen beds was a good fit. However, the building itself is quite old, and I wasn’t informed that one of the elevators was under maintenance. It was inconvenient having to walk from one building to another just to reach my room. The shower also had a leak, which made the bathroom floor wet after every use. On the positive side, the location is right in the center of Bangla, very lively and strategic

A Pleasant Stay at Royal Paradise with Weak Internet Connection + We had a pleasant stay at The Royal Paradise Hotel. Upsides: • The hotel offered beautiful views, and we enjoyed our partial sea view room. • The location was great, providing easy access to nearby attractions. • The breakfast was good, and the pool was great. Downsides: • The Wi-Fi was very weak, and we had to rely on our own SIM card for internet access. • The walls were quite thin, so we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. • At checkout, the hotel was so full that even with an additional fee, we couldn’t extend our stay.

BE CAREFUL - very bad safety risks and overcharging! + Massively over priced! As soon as I arrived I asked to cancel and my room and the hotel is extremely dated! There are no charging points near the bed! When you turn your lights off to go to sleep the sockets in your room turn off. The electrics would fl pier and sounded dangerous. Black mould in the bathroom too! Dirty windows all over. Missing light covers in the elevators. WORST OF ALL THERE WAS A SINKHOLE on the roof bar terrace in the floor! It was two inches deep and had not been corded off!! This is dangerous! The hotel staff would not help me, pretended not to understand what I meant even when I converted English to thai. The room cost me £1428.09 ENGLISH pounds for 3 nights! It was worth half of that! It is actually advertised now as half of that price. I would only recommend staying here if your ok with you Safety being put at risk! And if the amount your charged before you stay is less that £250 a night! Otherwise it i…

Good location + Nice enough hotel but pricey for what it was. Great location close to drag show club and Zag- just across road. Reasonable Chinese restaurant on 25th floor of main hotel with good breakfasts there on 2nd floor. We were in the Royal wing and design quite strange and dangerous as beds on a ramp in the room. We all had shin injuries after 4 nights- stupid design!

Fantastic staff but the hotel quality has gone down. + This was our second stay in Royal Paradise. We had chosen to pay extra this time to stay high up to enjoy the wiew. That was a mistake. Our room on 17th floor and we were welcomed by the fantastic staff we remembered from the previous stay. That has'nt changed. No matter if it was the cleaning lady or the manager we felt they appriciated our stay and went that extra mile to make us feel welcome. However we can not reccomend this hotel after our latest stay, because: The noise from the nearby gay clubs is extreeme. The first show starts at 10 pm. an the last one starts at 1 pm. The music was very loud and staying in a room where the windows could'nt close and had to be tightened with ducktape to keep the noise out spoiled our sleep every night. Just for the record - we have nothing against gay people. Only the loud shows that kept us awake. The traffic also kept us awake. The hospital is very close and ambulances kept coming with t…
