Beautiful Paradise + We unfortunately only stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We had a room with a pool, which was absolutely perfect! Everything you could need in a room. The hotel itself was beautiful, absolutely perfect. I couldn't fault it at all. I hope I return one day. My day at Following Giants a completely ethical elephant santuary was absolutely amazing - if you get the opportunity to go, go!

Very good during adult only dates + This is a good hotel with nice rooms that are well equipped. Many have great big hammocks at their outside space. There are 2 good pools and lots of loungers at the main one and the beach. They do let folk reserve the loungers so one day there were none available. Many people also leave their towels when they finish and as these are not lifted it looks as if the loungers are not free. Maybe something they could improve on. Hotel has an amazing breakfast- overnight oats and yoghurt pots- delicious. All cold items are kept in a big walk in fridge, so good. Loafs of choice and breakfast items are constantly topped up too. You can get coffee and bottled water all day at this hotel. They also put loads of bottles of water in your room each day- it’s brilliant. There is a good happy hour- 2 for 1 cocktails that work out good value and 3 for 2 beers. It’s a lovely tranquil and quiet resort but we were there during an adults only period so could be diffe…

Highly recommended + This was our second stay here, and we felt right at home again. While the hotel is showing its age a bit, it's generally very well-maintained. The grounds, in particular, are beautifully landscaped and visibly cared for. The staff are consistently very friendly and attentive, making the stay a truly pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet is exceptionally extensive, offering an impressive selection of high-quality, attractively presented food. The atmosphere at breakfast is tranquil and stylish, allowing you to start the day in a relaxed manner. The Bualuang spa area deserves special mention; it's truly one of the best. It offers a unique atmosphere of relaxation and well-being and is definitely one of the hotel's highlights for us. Even the entrance area is inviting and features a comfortable waiting area with a cushioned lounge, making arrival, departure, and waiting for a taxi very convenient. The rooms are very well-equipped and comfortable, though they…

Christmas Vacations + Very nice Resort for Adult Only in winter time. We spend a good time. The Staff is nice & helpful. We were on vacation of course & we didn't appreciate no flexibility for breakfast & dinner closing time...too much hurry too close. It was not possible to move sunbeds on their beach & you had to stay very closed to somebody else, they also locked them. The gym is very nice but not very cleaned & there is no disinfectant spray to clean by ourself neither. I think they should be more flexy to customers.

Needs attention + Best thing about this resort is the adults only period from November to April. Makes a huge difference. We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe sea view villa which was comfortable. We did expect a higher standard for the price - some things needed attention like the shower head, the frames around the fly screens are rotting, the aircon leaked, our toiletries were not replenished and the mosquito net over the bed had holes in it and was not clean. The breakfast spread was extensive but with only one restaurant on site, which was very average, was a bit disappointing. The resort is close to other bars and restaurants along the beach so not a big deal. You can also get to town on a Tuk Tuk in 5 minutes where you can eat at the markets very cheaply. The pool, although inviting, was murky towards the end of our stay so can only assume there was a problem with the filter. The sunbeds are awful. They all need replacing they are saggy and uncomfortable, some had screws missing. …

Sehr schönes ruhiges Adult only Hotel! + We felt very comfortable at the Twin Lotus Resort! The Deluxe Bungalows Beach/Sea & Gardenview are all beautifully situated and offer a private terrace where you can relax all day. The hotel staff, including the manager, are all incredibly friendly! The breakfast is excellent (with a refrigerator!) and you can enjoy it with a sea view. The natural beach is very beautiful. Although there are plenty of sun loungers available, many guests reserve them. The hotel's location is quiet, and there are plenty of options for enjoying local bars and restaurants in the evening. We highly recommend this hotel.

Another great stay + This place never disappoints, this was our fourth visit during our travels around Thailand. Great beach for long walks. Staff always super friendly, some of the rooms looking a bit dated and could do with a makeover but compared to other hotels certainly stacks up. Breakfast has plenty of options. All very positive only observation for management which I mentioned in past review last year no moisturiser in bathroom which falls below standard of similar hotels like this in Thailand. Shower heads need overhaul as does water pressure. Apart from this thank you for another wonderful stay.

Amazing Adults-Only Beachfront Resort in Koh Lanta – Better Than many 5* + What an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely. The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the…

Amazing stay. Even better staff + From start to finish my stay here was amazing. The service is top tier. Michelle and the team went out of their way to make mine and my partners birthdays a hit (helping to arrange flowers and cake delivery from the mainland). The gardens are so well kept and beautiful. Breakfast was great every day. It’s a tiny bit dated but is very much worth the value and service you’ll receive. Thank you so much Michelle kaaa

My favourite place + My husband, brother and myself stayed in this wonderful hotel . This is our 5th time here and we love it . The service is fantastic from everyone working here especial Michelle who will always go the extra mile. My brother loved an early morning swim and my husband and I would take an early walk on the beautiful long sandy beach before it was too hot, then we would come back to the fantastic breakfast buffet . I cannot wait to return next year .

Favourite place in the world! + This is our third time at twin lotus and I can’t say enough good things about it. It just keeps getting better and better always striving to improve. But how can you improve perfection? The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and the breakfast now has a pastry chef that makes amazing baked breads and pastries everyday. And the added ham from Spain is a lovely addition . The beach is perfect , fabulous for swimming and taking long walks. Since it’s adults only it is always quiet and peaceful and a nice mix of young and older people. The best part is the staff. Consistently excellent staff who are so pleasant and accommodating. Michelle and Marc particularly go out of their way to ensure everything is running smoothly. They are amazing and twin lotus is fortunate to have them on their team. But all of the staff are great and work together . It is a joy to watch. Highly recommend ! If you’re looking for an amazing ing property that will not disa…

Enjoyable stay + We had a 13 night stay here Feb/March and ended up in 3 rooms throughout our stay. We were lucky to get an upgrade on our first night for one night to a private villa before moving to our chose room, a deluxe garden villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the novelty of being steps from our room to the beach, often going out for dinner bare foot. Breakfast was peaceful with a good variety. We enjoyed the coffee. It's also nice to have access to free coffee and water throughout the day in tge breakfast restaurant which was a nice touch. Staff were always pleasant and friendly. We didn't use the hotel bar or restaurant as others have stated the prices were expensive. I think our only real downside was that sun loungers are minimal and are taken pretty much by 8am by the people who think it is ok to reserve them and then not use them. Our deluxe garden villa was nice, just what we needed. I think we would have perhaps benefited from a mirror on the dressing tabl…

OK hotel, but busy even when in the 'adults only' time + Our first time to Ko Lanta and we were hoping for somewhere quiet. Unfortunately with TUI now selling packages here, even lesser known places such as here are getting too busy and with the kind of crowd that seem to not know how to behave (more on that later!) I had chosen the TL because it was adults-only between November and April booking a Deluxe Garden Villa which looked lovely on the website. Arrival was smooth and efficient, our booking was found straight away, passports scanned and we were on the golf buggy before we knew it. When we arrived at our room and walked in I honestly thought we had been given the wrong room category as it looked nothing like the photos on the website; the wardrobe layout was different, the bathroom layout was different. It was only when I looked at the room number outside the door that it confirmed this was a Deluxe room. Hmmm. The doors to the bathroom are big and heavy and only opened inwards…

Little silce of heaven, tranquil, perfect holiday. + We had an amazing, relaxing 10 night holiday at the Twin Lotus. Stayed in 709 Seaview Villa, it was perfect, less than minute walk to the most beautiful stretch of beach which we enjoyed walking along a few times aday. But the cherry on the top was watching the sunset every evening from the patio. Our Villa was clean, very spacious, plenty of storage space, shower gel, shampoo & condition is provided. The bed was extremely comfy & big. 4 bottles of water are left daily by house keeping. There are two heavy doors that open in or out to bathroom, however we never had any issues, as we never just let the doors swing shut, we mainly kept one open which did not hinder any space in the room. The hotel grounds are very well maintained & the beach was also cleaned in the mornings during our stay. I did use the gym few times which was well equipped also provided towels & water. Loved breakfast, alot of choices. The cold room is a great to…

Beautiful setting but needs more customer focus + The location is undeniably beautiful, with a truly stunning beach that makes you pause and take it all in. The grounds are attractive and well maintained, and visually it delivers exactly what you hope for when booking a beach escape. Unfortunately, the customer experience did not match the setting. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the manager (I believe his name was Peti, as there was no one called Michelle). He was initially warm and welcoming, but it quickly became apparent that this enthusiasm was tied to selling tickets for the weekly buffet. Once we agreed, the friendliness noticeably faded. After that, he would often walk past without acknowledgment, which made the atmosphere feel transactional rather than genuinely hospitable. There were two further interactions that stood out. On one occasion, a couple attempted to move sunbeds onto the beach and were told this was not permitted due to government regulations. While this may…

Paradise + This was our third visit and did not disappoint. Amazing hotel and the staff are lovely, always smiling, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The beach is beautiful and they have some fantastic restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The market is a 30 minute walk or just jump on a tuk tuk and enjoy the breeze. Will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Great beach resort with an amazing, spotless beach + Everything you could want in a Thai beach resort - especially the fantastic beach. Breakfast is good, pools are amazing and the attentive service by every member of staff is worthy of an extra star. Some of the cheaper rooms are dated - especially bathrooms - wifi is no great shakes an even after 5 days we couldn’t figure out what the 17 light switches in our room actually controlled! This resort has every facility you could want and you can even throw in a good gym, free yoga, free towel folding lessons and pétanque as well as use of kayaks and paddle boards. Deserving of its top status in this part of Lanta.
