Staff were extremely welcoming and provided a custom experience. Room was very clean and good ocean view. Great stay + Everything with the room was great and staff took care and assisted with our needs more than expected. Location was also great with nice beach.

Exceptionaly excellent + Stupendous. Loved it Yes front office team upgraded my room to villa no. 408. I cant define you in words how happy me my family was. Exceptional hospitality. They provided some fruits with a beautiful chocolate cake. Dusit thani laguna is my 2nd home. I just love the resort like anything. I am again coming in jan (25th-29th) 2026 for the 5th time with my family. To celebrate my birthday. I have booked pool villa Kindly make my birthday special. Last time they provided me n my family free drinks for 1 hr at horizon. Kindly allow us this time too . Thank you

Construction site, techno noise, poor food + The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The staff is friendly. However, the beach restaurant was closed during our entire stay, which was very annoying. We were not informed of this in advance. Unfortunately, the food at the Benjarong restaurant was not good at all. We couldn't understand the praise it received. The gym is quite outdated. The noise from the beach bar next door was terrible. Techno music until midnight. An absolute no-go on vacation.

Paradise with heavenly service + Not our first stay at this Dusit hotel and they again upped their game. ‘Don’t have enough superlatives to describe the facilities and surroundings but the wonderful staff and management really ticks all the boxes for me. Attentive, friendly and exceptionally helpful. It’s the simple things in which they are a cut above the rest. Will be back!!

Best + We had our wedding ceremony at Dusit Thani on December 12, 2025, and it was truly beautiful and perfect. From the beginning to the end, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. Our wedding organizers—especially Karter and Mintra—were absolutely amazing. We started working with them more than six months in advance, and throughout the entire process they were incredibly helpful, responsive, and professional. They made us feel supported and confident every step of the way. We are so grateful to have celebrated our special day at Dusit Thani. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend the Dusit Thani team to any couple planning their wedding. 💍

For $1000 a night it is absolutely not worth it. Buffet Lurch was $120 per person. + Absolutely not worth $1000 per night. $120 per person for Buffet lunch ??? No pricing shared before you eat. Rooms were nice but again not worth $1000 per night. Did not feel at all like a luxury hotel. Towel service person at swimming pool Was rude. Swimming pool closes at 7 PM. Please avoid this property

Beachfront! Nice resort. + Bang Tao is the best beach in Phuket (my opinion) Clean and big, and nice for swimming. My girfriend had birthday during our stay. We got upgrade, cake ,free dessert and some staff even sing birthday song and put up a sign! Even if you dont have a birthday I recomend this resort . All the resturants are good. The staff are nice and polite and the resort is very green and beautiful. Its pretty much beachfront. Highly recomend Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. David.

Great location. + This hotel is on a lovely beach . Staff at the hotel were lovely. Predominantly Russian guests in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice , you could sit outside to eat but be aware of pigeons waiting to raid your plate if left unattended. Our room was lovely. Minibar in the room . Lots of complimentary water . Tea and coffee in the room but the tea very insipid. If you like a big mug of tea be advised to bring one with you as cups in the room quite small. Aircon very good . Our room was on the 3rd floor with a Seaview. Only drawback of having a room on the 3rd floor is the pigeons roost in the rafters just above the balcony & poo everywhere! We requested our balcony to be cleaned so we could sit outside. Housekeeping was performed to a high standard . Beach was lovely . Vendors on the beach sell alcohol/ snacks / fresh fruit & smoothies ( which were amazing) Sea can be a bit rough but not enough to stop people going in . You just have to time g…

Home Away From Home + Our second year in coming to the Dusit and from now on an annual visit. The hotel has great location right on the beachfront and being on the west coast, the sunsets are amazing. Great food in all the restaurants and the rooms are kept clean and are really comfortable. The selling point of this Hotel is its staff. Everyone is really polite and friendly and lots of the staff remembered us from last year and even remembered our preferences for drinks ! Nearly half the guests are return visitors so that says a lot. After sunset you can walk along the beach and a short 10 minute walk you will find lots of beachfront bars and restaurants with live music. If you are coming to Phuket I would highly recommend the Dusit Thani !

Check-in was disappointing. Staff didn’t explain hotel services or offer help. Expected warmer welcome and better servic + Very disappointed with check-in. Staff gave no info, no help changing, and made us feel unwelcome. Expected better service.

Fabulous in Phuket + Second stay here and considering a 3rd next year. Amazing location, right on bang Tao beach, fab pool amazing service and hospitality from genuinely friendly team. Worth upgrading to an oceanfront view room. Great experience, thank you:)

Great vacation at Dusit Thani, Phuket + We had a very nice time at Dusit Thani, Phuket. We found the staff to be very polite and friendly. We ate at all the restaurants onsite and found the meals to be exceptionally good. The beach area is beautiful. We used the hotel concierge, Marvin, to plan 4 excursions for us. Phe Phe Islands, James Bond Island, City Tour, and Elephant Sancturary. All were well planned and we enjoyed all the experiences.

Great staff and great location. + A wonderful stay as usual thanks to the friendly and welcoming staff. We had a lovely room facing the lagoon and the mountains. We love Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket and return every year for a couple of weeks to escape the Swedish winter. The General Manager Samir and his staff take such good care of us, making our stay memorable and perfect. We want to thank you all for your kind and excellent service, your great hospitality and care. Excellent family stay at Dusit Thani.We will recomend it for your next vacations + Excellent family stay at Dusit Thani We stayed at Dusit Thani with our family—four adults and two children under two years old—for 8 nights from March 9 to March 17, 2026. We had two Deluxe King Bed Rooms and overall had a wonderful experience. The hotel is absolutely recommendable. Architecture and landscaping are spectacular and beautifully reflect Thailand’s nature and traditions. Location is excellent, only about 5 minutes by taxi from Boat Avenue, Porto Phuket, and the Friday Night Market, which made it very convenient to explore the area. Beach access is fantastic, with direct access from the pool to a calm sea suitable for swimming. There are plenty of sun loungers available. The swimming pool is very family-friendly and easy to access for small children. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. If you think the world is lacking love, stay at the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket where you will find it in abundance + This was our 13th trip to the Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket and for us it has always been heaven and without doubt our second home. It is certainly our home from home and we look forward to returning in March each and every year. Before speaking about the staff and how they contribute to our happiness, it is worth noting that since March 2025 there has been a substantial step change in the investment spent on the hotel's upkeep. Whilst the hotel was opened in 1988 to royal fanfare and built in a traditional thai style, the hotel has never looked architecturally dated and this year there have been significant visual improvements to the hardstanding areas, additional green shrubbery providing more privacy and a substantial renovation to the Casuarina Beach restaurant which now looks purposeful, modern and has a fabulous menu. Relaxing get away + Travelled to this resort with family. Beautiful room, clean resort , nice beach. Shout out to Tiffy, she made the dining experience memorable from the breakfast at the club to Thai dishes by the pool.
