An amazing stay in a paradise resort + We had a fantastic experience at the Paradox Resort. From the staff to location to amenities - everything was top notch. Our villa with a plunge pool was very comfortable and spacious. The spa offered great massages. Breakfast and a la carte restaurants were delicious. We will definitely come back.

Great facilities if day-touring, but not for food & entertainment in peak season. + Lovely spacious twin room with a balcony to watch to see the sunrise and sunset Karon Beach was a great choice away from Patong with 3 teen boys! Definitely one of the best resorts to stay off main the strip, with a good size main pool, friendly staff, but it lacked an atmosphere, especially for Xmas and this is my reason for the 3 star. The food was not great, definitely not worth the costs, but Breakfast provided a broad range to suit all tastes.

Great stay! Even better staff! + I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Paradox resort. The amenities were nice, but the best part was the staff! Everyday they took great care of me and made sure I wanted for nothing! They remembered the small things, like where I like to sit during breakfast, what I ate, and most importantly my name! My only recommendation is to upgrade the insulation of the rooms, renovate the outlets and have better humidity control. Other than that, this place is awesome and I definitely will be coming back! I highly recommend!!

Perfect Resort for Phuket in great location + Fantastic relaxing stay at Paradox. Great food options throughout the day and top customer service in every department. I’d recommend booking a Muay Thai session if you can, Kim the trainer was a great guy and very friendly! A credit to the hotel!

Fabulous, outstanding + We stayed for 3 nights before we unfortunately had to fly home at the end of a fantastic trip. Firstly the service and professionalism of every single member of staff was exceptional. The hotel is very well maintained in all area's. We had what I think was called a "premium cottage" which was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Bed and pillows very comfy. AC was quite quiet as quiet as it can be . Breakfast had everything you could want and more, the jam and sweet corn Danish pastry was a bit strange but it actually worked. Lunch at the pool was tasty and served quickly. Cocktails at the pool bar were very good, only one person making them so he was very busy. We went to the lobby bar one evening, I asked for a cocktail that wasn't on the menu, 5 mins later I had the delicious cocktail I asked for. I can not find any faults with this hotel, it was a pleasure to stay, wish our stay had been longer.

Beautiful resort, but disappointing service and standards + The resort itself is lovely and set in lush, well kept ground and a great location on Karon Beach. Staff around the pools and in the restaurants were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, our experience with guest relations and maintenance let the stay down. Issues with our room reported on arrival took days to be addressed despite repeated follow ups, and communication felt generic and lacking urgency. The rooms also feel a little tired for what is advertised as a five star resort. We were also surprised to see birds freely landing on food at the breakfast buffet, even after raising this as a hygiene concern. Beware that only two 500ml bottles of drinking water are initially provided per day in the room, with no complimentary water available by the pools. The website also advertised a filtered water tap in the room, which was not present. While we eventually managed to have additional water supplied, this only …

Beautiful property with great pool + Beautiful property steps from Karon beach. I stayed in the Superior King room and it was well maintained and updated, however the room seemed a little bare. The main pool is gorgeous and while I came during a holiday it didn’t seem too crowded. The breakfast was really good and received attentive service from all staff. There were areas of the resort that looked like it could use some updating: like fountains, WiFi in some areas, light switches in the rooms, but overall the resort itself was very impressive. I was disappointed as only certain guests could use certain pools, I didn’t see that in my research before booking. I would recommend the resort overall and stay again if I were visiting Phuket.

Disappointing + We stayed in two rooms for five nights and unfortunately our experience was far below acceptable standards. Throughout our stay we experienced multiple service failures: coffee spilled on one of us at breakfast with no proper follow-up, excessively slow service, rooms not cleaned on certain days despite requests, and an unprofessional response to a simple late checkout request. Being told that your standards are higher than Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and that we should “go there” was inappropriate and unacceptable. The final incident at checkout was the most frustrating. We were asked to provide a receipt for a pool day pass that had already been paid and verified three days earlier. Access had been granted at the time by security after checking the receipt. Asking again at checkout caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment to my father. Beautiful Hotel, Could Do Better Tho! + Overall a beautiful hotel, loved the areas, the breakfast area, the pool area (we only went to the main one), the “waterfall” with the pond, the many gardens…everything was really beautiful, even the reception! The staff we encountered when walking through the hotel was also very nice and the staff at breakfast was also really helpful. We also went to some of the “restaurants” owned by the hotel. We really liked Mint Restaurant, the service there was great, the lady that served our table was really polite and friendly. We also went to Cafe Studio, where the staff was also really polite. In both places the food was also good! Now…the not so good part of the review. The reception staff is the face of the hotel, so we think they should be 100% inside the hotel policies and be fluent in english more than everyone else. In multiple times we sensed problems caused by miscommunication, amongst the staff themselves and between the staff and ours…

Pleasant stay + Location was amazing, in close proximity to restaurants and massages. Atmosphere was calm and pretty quiet overall. Room was basic but had everything you need, value was slightly costly as the rooms are not sound proof and we were woken up daily by our neighbors, it is what it is. Breakfast was excellent daily. And the hotel was very clean.

Great location and fabulous breakfast buffet + The Paradox had a great location near the lively town, and it had a nice beachfront. The place is huge, so it was nice to have hotel employees drive us down to the beach in golf carts. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. I wish the rooms had more of a Thai design (like the lobby) rather than looking like an “anyplace” hotel room. It was average but functional.

Great location great place to stay + Great place to stay This is our second time here and will definitely come back again in 2027. I am at the coconut pool and Sid is the life Gard here. He is such a great person and very helpful and very polite. It’s great to see such inspiring young people.

Just perfect! + Our stay at Paradox Karon was absolutely fantastic and truly exceeded our expectations from start to finish. We would especially like to give a huge thank you to Luk Wha – her kindness, warm smile, and genuine willingness to help made our experience even more special. She is a true asset to the hotel and a big part of what makes this place so memorable. The hotel itself is perfectly located, just a short walk from the beautiful beach, which was a huge plus for us. The breakfasts were amazing – a great variety of fresh, high-quality options that made every morning a pleasure. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. You can really feel that they care about their guests. Overall: an amazing stay, amazing place, amazing people. We will definitely be back!

The best Reception in Phuket + We love the hotel as it near to Karon beach and would like to pass the compliment to reception who always assisted us about the room and luggage and also the reception here can speak Chinese with Chinese guests especially with Luk Wha who escorted us and recommended us to the local places and also Koi and Honey helped about the room and welcome us since the arrival

SUPER ENJOYED + Me and my daughter stayed at Paradox on the March of 2026. The room at the main building was very comfortable and good-renovated. The hotel staff was nice and solved issues quickly, very grateful to Luk Wha, reacted quickly at some of the moments with number. The breakfasts were delicious. Definitely will come back at the Paradox!!! Btw the location is superb, everything is the around the resort. The resort itself locates at the center of Karon, but you wont hear any noise from the beach etc
