Quiet, safe and relaxed stay in Tulum + End of April I spent one night in the Little Gem Hotel, travelling with a car. I enjoyed the stay very much. The staff was very friendly, it was a pleasure to cool down in the swimming pool, I had coffee and water both in the room and in the lobby. Air conditioning and shower worked fine. The breakfast across the street was good. In the evening I walked three blocks to Calle 7 Sur with lots of bars and restaurants. Although the quarter is still in development and some streets look shady I always felt safe. I read in the comments about the “dangerous” bumpy dirt street, it is only 100m and absolutely no issue if you know how to drive in Mexico. − All good

Superbe hôtel, rien à redire ! + L'hôtel est superbe, notre chambre double était spacieuse, propre, bien équipée (frigo, machine à café, eau...). Le personnel à l'accueil est accueillant. Nous ne sommes restés que 2 jours mais si nous retournons un jour à Tulum, il est certains qu'on reviendrait à cet hôtel sans hésitation. − Les rues (enfin, les pistes...) autour de l'hôtel en très mauvais état. Mais ça, l'hôtel n'y peut rien.

+ Très belle chambre, spacieuse et confortable, dans un hôtel calme. Le personnel est disponible et attentionné. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, servi au bar situé en face de l’hôtel. − Attention : l’annonce traduite en anglais mentionnait une baignoire avec contrôle de la température, mais en réalité l’eau est froide, à température ambiante.

Enjoyed our Stay at Little Gem Hotel + The hotel very nice and peaceful throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for local spots for food. We enjoyed having the little cookies provided daily after housekeeping. :) − Over all it was a good stay but the following recommendations may help to improve further guests stay. - The floor type in the bathroom is slippery when wet therefore a shower mat will help to prevent accident. - A TV in the room. All though not a deal breaker since we spend majority of our time outside the room, however it would be nice to have a TV to watch when we were in.

Un joyaux ! + Le personnel était au petit soin avec nous, ils m'ont même fait une surprise pour mon anniversaire. L'hôtel est beau, moderne et propre, décoré avec goût, bel oasis de paix à Tulum. Cet hôtel porte bien son nom, vraiment un petit joyaux avec des managers fantastiques. − Rien

Quiet , cozy, clean , and refreshing . + Yes it’s was great . Nestor is an amazing host and the facilities are great. Pool is clean and comfortable, rooms are perfect . Although breakfast is not included , coffee and cookies are provided and the establishment in-front with a 15% off hotel discount has a great breakfast and fantastic . Bikes are loaned and great for exploring . I highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully come back one day . − Nothing really . It was great !

Mooi verblijf in Tulum + Moderne nette, ruime kamers die voorzien zijn van alle comfort. Aangename gastheer en gastvrouw die je met alles graag helpen en meer info geven over het gebied. − De infrastructuur rond het hotel. Er zijn veel onafgewerkte wegen in Tulum. We hadden ook moeilijkheden met het hotel te vinden omdat er geen bordje aan de buitenkant hangt met de naam van het hotel. We zijn hierdoor meermaals voorbij het gebouw gereden.

Good option for Tulum, requires adaptation + It is more an Airbnb style than a hotel. Clean, swimming pool, big apartment, brand new. − Arrived late and it was hard to found, as there are no signs in front of the property. No breakfast. Streets around looked like the moon, but manageable. A bit far from the main Tulum places, but close if you have a car.
