Great Location would happily stay again + The property has a great location right next to all the busyness of the city which I liked. In walking distance of the train/metro stations as well as having a lot of food options nearby. − The room was a little small but it is like that across a lot of hotels in japan so nothing that wasn’t expected.

Unsatisfactory + Location. − I expected a much better experience at this hotel, given the positive reviews on various booking platforms. Unfortunately, from the moment we checked in, it was clear that this place fell short of basic expectations. First off, we were not offered an early check-in option, and the lobby was devoid of any seating for guests waiting to check in. This is unacceptable, especially for those travelling with elderly parents—my mother had nowhere to sit. I was also surprised by the lack of complimentary drinks, which is standard in most hotels in Japan. While there's an electric kettle in the room, there are no complimentary tea or coffee sachets available, which you would typically find even in hostels. Instead, you have to pay 200 yen for coffee at the reception, which is quite disappointing. Moreover, I was informed upon check-in that I needed to pay a city tax of 800 yen for four people, despite that fee already being included in my original booking. The…

Average + had everything we needed and location was ok in terms of proximity to shops etc − bathroom had mould growing everywhere. Was in the red light district so a bit loud and not ideal with children
