A Peaceful Stay with a Perfect Breakfast ✨ + A wonderful stay with an excellent breakfast! The breakfast was very tasty and generous, filled with fresh fruits and fresh juices. It was a perfect mix of international and Sri Lankan dishes. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place is extremely quiet and calm, ideal for relaxing, reading, and unwinding. The long swimming pool was a real highlight. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and comfort.

+ I grund och botten är detta ett jättefint boende med fint läge på stranden - men det känns som att det har försummats rejält de senaste åren och skulle behöva en upprustning. Rummet var stort och badrummet ännu större. Poolen utanför var jättefin (men också väldigt smutsig). − Resten av familjen ville egentligen byta boende när vi hade checkat in då poolen var i rejält behov av en rengöring och mycket kändes rätt nergånget. Det är dock som sagt i grunden en pärla med kanonläge på stranden - om någon bara skulle kunna göra lite mindre uppgraderingar (och städa poolen). Det kändes rätt övergivet också, trots att vi var där precis efter nyår. SPA-delen av namnet förstod vi inte vad det tillförde - vi såg inte skymten av något SPA-relaterat. Det finns heller ingen restaurang på stället men man kunde visst beställa mat via dem ändå - det var lite oklart faktiskt.

+ Tres beau bungalow situé sur une plage tres peu fréquentée dans un ecrin de végetation . On peut s'y baigner aprés avoir passé la 1ere vague. Des transats en bois sont a disposition. Terrasse en bois en hauteur face a la mer. Petit dejeuner tres copieux servi sur la terrasse du bungalow. − La piscine décrite sur le site n'est pas vraiment accessible au bungalow d'avant plage, car elle située devant les autres logements un peu en retrait, mais ca ne nous a pas manqué car nous avons apprécîé nos bains de mer. Hotel situé a Dodanduwa, à 12 min de transport organisé par l'hotel pr rejoindre leur restaurant sur Hikkadua le Beer garden. Il faut bien avouer qu'une posés ds cet écrin , on n'a plus trop envie de sortir... A noter que les vitres qui constituent la petite véranda devant la chambre à l'étage ne s'ouvrent plus. Odeur assez forte de boules antimites à l'arrivée. On les a sorties et apres aeration , c 'etait ok.

Décevant − The staff were very friendly, but the building is poorly maintained and in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the accommodations did not match the price paid. The main problems encountered were: poorly maintained premises (needing pest control treatment, mold in the shower, on the ceiling, and on the curtains); faulty equipment (the ventilation system and hairdryer were out of order, and the pool light was detached). There is no spa on the premises despite the hotel's name. Finally, breakfast is not offered. Again, at this price, one would expect something quite different!

Superbe ! + Sa localisation directement sur la plage et un peu à l’écart du centre ville. Le jardin, la piscine avec douche sur la plage. Le personnel adorable et disponible. La possibilité d’avoir le petit déjeuner et de commander des repas servis en chambre.

Niet het beste + Het bed was prima − Er was een mega grootte vlek in het gordijn. Kregen maar 1 handdoek. Rommelig contact met het personeel en de kamer was niet erg schoon toen we hem kregen

Relaxing beach holiday, very rustic but beautiful and quiet + Location was great, short tuk tuk into Hikkaduwa private location. Would love to give 10 but a few basic issues to address. Book direct through the company, Booking.com is so much more $$$ − Had to constantly ask for amenities to be replaced, drinking water, toilet paper, towels, etc, room was not serviced for the whole 6 nights we stayed, no cutlery or crockery provided Hot shower not always available Property is in much need of some general maintenance eg deck and stairs need oiling etc
