Thank you, Mimi, for an amazing experience. Exceeded all my expectations in every way. I will return. + The house is extraordinary. A perfect example of Hanok architecture. The host, Mimi, is a a truly inspiring, kind, engaging person. The location, while a bit far from the center of Seoul, is a gem - well connected to the metro/bus, serene, right adjacent to must-sea temples. Simply put, the best stay of my well-travelled life. I will return. − Nothing

Рядом находится круглосуточный магазин и несколько кафе. Чуть дальше есть буддистский храм и пешая тропа в горы для хайк + Дом расположен в очень красивом традиционном комплексе! Дом выполнен в традиционном стиле и очень удобен для проживания! Мне очень понравилось спать на их подушках и матрасах! В номере есть мини кухня, туалет совмещенный с душем, а также шампуни/гели/спф и тональные средства. Косметика невероятно хорошая! Я осталась в восторге! Окна открываются во все стороны и можно любоваться видом на горы и крыши соседних домов! Хозяйка была очень милой! Она приготовила для нас красивые ханбоки и помогла сделать много красивых фотографий! Научила нас простой мелодии на традиционном инструменте, а так же приготовила вкусный завтрак и даже собрала нам перекус в аэропорт. Мы забыли куртку в номере и она заботливо помогла нам отправить её почтой к нашей подруге из Сеула.

Superbe hanok dans un village de hanoks aux portes de Seoul + L'accueil formidable de la propriétaire, le hanok en lui-même et son emplacement ( village de hanoks pas encore trop touristique, avec 2 temples magnifiques à 10-15 minutes à pied), le petit déjeuner et les autres surprises que vous réservent la propriétaire - nous avons commencé notre séjour en Corée avec une nuit dans ce hanok et c'était magique − Rien, c'était parfait

Beautiful stay in a hanok. Mimi was wonderful. Beautiful views. + Beautiful location. Mimi was knowledgable, kind and helpful. Gorgeous home with private suite with several traditional rooms. Amazing and thoughtful breakfasts and wonderful hanbok experience. Mimi knew all the beautiful places to take lovely photos and the quality of hanbok were lovely. So nice having morning light and privacy before streets got busier. Lovely views of the mountains. − We loved this stay and it really made our South Korean trip!! Is a distance from central Seoul and the airport but this is easily navigated with cheap taxis.

Cute mountain village + Great location for Bukhansan National Park and taking a break from the city. Host is very fun and has Hanbok rentals. − Somewhat hard to get to without a car.

+ We really enjoyed our stay, very family friendly, a lovely walk through the area and nice quiet change from the hustle/bustle and other busy tourist areas of Seoul. We settled in and felt right at home. We enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Quaint and authentic + This is an amazing authentic experience of a peaceful and beautiful Hanok traditional home! Mimi is lovely and super welcoming, the town is quaint and walking distance to a maintain hike and scenic temple and parklands.

Magnifique hanok + La maison est magnifique et l'hôte est d'une grande gentillesse ! Elle nous a fait un shooting photo en hanbok dans la petite cour du hanok malgré la pluie, c'était très sympa. Le village est très beau.

Family tour in Korea + We love to meet the housekeeper, Ms. Min Min, she's beautiful and friendly Korean we met. BTW, its pillow with the traditional sense and then we bought one after leaving. − The stairs are too much to not be friendly for elderly people. This community should be scheduled for more time to stay and enjoy.

Chaehyodang hanok stay is a unique experience + The breakfast was phenomenal, one of the best we've ever had while traveling. The hanok was very charming and very clean. Everything worked well, and it was fun to see all the books on the shelves. The location was terrific in terms of being in the mountains and in a quieter area. The nearby Buddhist temples, a lovely city park, and lots of walking paths make it easy to be in nature without needing to take a car or public transit. − An additional chair, futon, or sofa would be nice in the space. There isn't any comfortable seating within the room or in any shared space throughout the hanok. The local neighborhood is charming but doesn't have a huge number of amenities such as all day food options (especially for vegetarians). A specific challenge to 2026 is that the hiking path leading from the nearby Buddhist temple up to Bukansan Mountain is closed for repair, making it more of a logistical challenge to go hiking.

+ Le quartier de maisons traditionnelles au pied des montagnes vaut le détour, la maison est magnifique, l'agencement est traditionnel, les futons, les pièces qui s'enchaînent, la bibliothèque... C'est calme et apaisant. Des balades vers des temples ou des randos se font à pied depuis la maison. Il n'y a pas de restaurants autour pour le soir (ou bien nous sommes arrivés trop tard), mais nous avons profité de la soirée dans la maison car il y a une petite cuisine. Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux.
