Average + Breakfast was very good juccuzzi and pool very nice as well − The hotel was average not a 4 star but more like a 3 star hotel and the price and hotel rooms were very basic Asian food and highly priced

Beautiful hotel with great facilities. Will definitely be back. + The entire property was beautifully furnished and had all the facilities we could ask for e.g. swimming pool The breakfast was exceptional, and catered for vegans which was a bonus. − We had a lovely room but it did smell a little musty.

The hotel is overpriced. The room was expensive but everything additional was expensive as well. + The bed was comfortable. The room was a good size. Staff were helpful. − The shower had no power along with being in the bath. It also leaked over the floor. There was a varied breakfast, but if you wanted an omelette or eggs benidict, there is an additional charge. Not good for a 4 star hotel when you have already paid for breakfast. I booked with Booking.com. Within 4 minutes of booking, I received a call from the Heywood Hotel asking me to cancel my booking and re-book directly with them; I would get 20% discount and free parking. This was not possible so no discount and £8/ night for parking. We considered eating in the evening at the hotel, but it was overpriced.

Good hotel facilities need an upgrade. + Food and hotel was nice − Spa was dated, the hot tub didn't work.

ok + Breakfast was nice. Staff were excellent − The bathroom in our room was very small and dated, and not to a good standard. Beds weren't very comfortable

Lovely hotel but don't rely on ev charger + Spa, breakfast and dinner were amazing. − EV charger didn't work on debit card and other option you couldn't sign up to unless your were a company or your employer has signed up so couldn't charge our car which would have been convenient. Also charging £8 per night for car park just because we booked with Booking.com. we wouldn't have found the hotel without bookings.com so felt this was unfair.

The stay was satisfactory + Bar and restaurant were nice. Location was good − Bedroom and en-suite were small and a bit cramped. Floor boards were making noise as one walked.
