+ I have not been to a Lodge where it felt like I was family and that no question was too outlandish. The front desk was very helpful. The view from our room was outstanding and restful. I would return in a heartbeat. Thanks for a memorable stay.

+ So, the room was excellent. The facility itself has a bit of a motel feel, but that's made up for by how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff is, going as far as to offer plenty of suggestions for dining, shopping, etc. I'd probably go 4 stars on this location, if it wasn't for the service really going above and beyond and making my stay really that much more enjoyable.

+ We were unable to maintain a comfortable room temperature. Opening the windows to lower temperature, only to have it rise again to 75 degrees. Too hot to sleep, especially on the overly soft mattress. Overall, every unpleasant stay.

+ The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s definitely not quiet during wedding season - sounds carries throughout the hotel. Restaurant staff were not friendly but the food and drinks were great. Front desk staff were lovely.

+ This hotel, is pretty well perfect, lovely rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Do not be put off by "lack" cooked breakfast. What is available is far better and excellent range, quality than so many other hotels. In a lovely convenient location, no corners cut. This is how it should be done.

+ Strandhill Lodge is the perfect stay. No fuss, fre to come and go, lovely healthy breakfasts ( nothing cooked) rooms are spotless, great views to the sea. No complaints at all.
