It was not 4 star facilities. + The roam was big. − The mattress of beds was not comfortable at all. There was no small fridge to put food.

+ The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the AO stadium, which was perfect for us . It also offered free hot drinks in the foyer 24/7. Our room was a good size, with a clean bathroom. I honestly could not fault it. − The only problem I had with the hotel was the car park. It was £15 to park and you had to download an app or email to pay. You had to do this within 30 mins of parking Unfortunately, neither myself nor my partner are any good at either of these and really struggled .I tried to ring a tel number to pay but it was a machine which couldn't recognise the reg no. The girl on Reception stated she couldn't help, however, when she realised my partner was disabled and had a blue badge she stated she could put it through as complimentary. If she hadn't done that, I think we would have ended up with a £100 fine!!! If anyone from the hotel reads this review- Please make paying the fee easier for hotel guests!!!!!!!

Excellent value for money, take it for what it is! + The location is excellent, depending which room you get it is either surprisingly excellent or just ok. − It is in dire need of a refresh, every room I have had so far the sofa is broken. The staff don’t care about customer service, don’t look at you when speaking or saying hello, on their phone a lot.

Nice hotel, but some improvements needed to truly be a four star. + Fairly centrally located. Receptionist went out of her way when I was leaving and requested her to call me a taxi. − Why are the only options given at breakfast halal? It's fine to have it as an option, but for those of us who prefer not to eat halal, we should be given an option too! I didn't like in some areas of my room it was dusty- the towel rail, and the bedside lamp. Although there was space for a mini fridge, it sadly was not utilised.

+ The location was decent. − It feels very dated and needs a lot of TLC. The skirting boards in reception weren't attached to the wall, they were leaning against it. The lift has some clip frames which are broken and battered. The carpets in the hallways and in the rooms are heavily stained. The bathmat had a black mark on it which I accepted as I was only going to stand on it. Then the rubber matting for the bath had a hair on it which I again accepted but then I unravel a towel and it was covered in marks/stains. I would consider these things to be bare minimum cleanliness in a hotel so this was disappointing. I found the bath unusually high to step in and out of. I assume other guests used the towel rack to help get out because it was unsteady. There was a kettle and tea station on the desk in the room but no nearby plug sockets except for on the floor on the opposite side of the room. This just seems avoidable and inconvenience.

+ Het ontbijt viel tegen. Er werd niet aangevuld. Er was een compleet keuken blok met koelkast aanwezig. − Er zat veel beweging in de houten vloeren. De trap was smal en stijl waardoor het lastig was om met een koffer bij het slaap en douche gedeelte te komen

Vale a pena para 1 ou 2 dias + Ótima localização, recepcionistas atenciosas, chuveiro bom com bastante pressão e água quente. Fiquei com fome tarde da noite e havia produtos de conveniência para consumir, o rapaz da recepção me auxiliou com o congelado no microondas. No quarto havia chaleira elétrica, xícara com colher, ventilador, roupeiro,tábua de passar roupa, secador de cabelos, mesa com cadeira, poltrona, mesas de cabeceira e abajures. No banheiro chuveiro muito bom com banheira, pia pequena, toalheiro aquecido e toalhas. − Acústica do prédio não é boa, a cada quarto que fechava sua porta, tremia as paredes do quarto vizinho. No meu banheiro houve problema na banheira, ralo não fechava. Recepção foi verificar e não havia conserto para o momento. Sugeriram a troca de quarto, optei por não trocar pois estava cansada e não queria refazer as malas e trocar de andar. Sobre a limpeza, não obtive durante a estada de 2 dias. Não havia placa para sinalizar a solicitação de limpeza ou não…

A very pleasant stay. + I’d never stayed here before but my friend booked a room here and we wanted to stay in the same place. I was very pleasantly surprised by the property. The room itself was quite large with a nice view out of large windows and the bathroom was a good size. − There wasn’t much I didn’t like about the property. It could maybe do with a bar downstairs for alcoholic drinks (there may have been one but I didn’t see it).

Wont be going back + Th gentleman on reception was lovely on thurs & friday this week − Couldnt shower - no hot water friday nite, Thurs Night we went to bed at 9 as we’d had a long day, we we’re woken at midnight by a member of security banging on our door until we answered, he said he was investigating a smell of weed, and just said sorry, we we’re fuming bearing in mind this is a 4* Hotel, he scared the life out of us banging n banging on the door at midnight, our room was 403 above an extremely busy noisy road woth blue lights and sirens constantly going past underneath… we wont be going back, 2 nights of no sleep, no hot water and banging on the door horrendous plus the tea/ coffee milk wasnt replenished 2nd day, so no cuppa either

Was ok for what we needed for 1 night + Clean. Good size room − Bathroom needs maintenance. Sink didn’t drain and shower slider bracket wasn’t fixed to wall. Bed was small for a double. Expect hotels to have king size
