Spacious, warm and comfortable stay in a good Lake Tekapo location + We stayed in Lake Tekapo to break the trip on our way to Queenstown, and this was a very good choice. The self check-in worked well, which was helpful as we were arriving late and the owners do not live on the property. There was quite a lot of information sent ahead of the stay, but it was useful and meant that everything was clear before we arrived. The room itself was very spacious, warm and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, extra blankets were provided, and the heating worked well, which is important in Tekapo when it gets cold. The electric blanket was also appreciated. There was good space to hang clothing, and the room felt well set up for a short or longer stay. The kitchen area was well equipped, with a microwave, coffee machine, utensils and other useful items provided. There was also a clear user manual for the appliances, which made things easy. Wi-Fi worked very well, and parking was available …
