OK for 1 night + The beds were comftable location was great and very quiet − Bathroom was very dirty. Hair in the bath and toilet not flushed

With a good facelift this could be an awesome place to stay. + Spacious room, good pillows, great layout, great location. − Very run-down and needing a facelift. With only two portable bar oil heaters (one of which was little with a broken leg on it) my elderly mother really felt the cold.

Very large and spacious, good location for work but the furnishings and heating require updating. + The apartment was large and spacious but quite dated in finishes and furnishings. Very limited cutlery, glasses and plates etc provided. I only had one fork - lucky there was only one of me. For work purposes it was in an ideal location although very little was open at night time nearby for dining. The towels were changed daily although I did have to ask to have the bed linen changed and the floor vacuumed after one week as it was not done. Full servicing is only done once per week which ideally for long stays of a month like this one, a little more frequently would be appreciated. I did need to extend for an additional two weeks which was accommodated for. − The room could do with a freshen up. Dated furnishings, bathroom had water damage around bottom of cabinetry. Heating does not seem to meet the "Healthy Homes' regulations but after leaving the coil heater on continuously it …

+ The location was great and the staff were accommodating and friendly. − The room felt that it required some maintenance, dining table had broken leg, sofa had no cushions so was uncomfortable, windows paint peeling. Main bathroom smelt like a Chinese takeaway even though on the 8th floor. Room was also very cold and only heated by oil heaters.

A rundown dump. + The staff were pleasant. − Everything. It’s shabby and rundown. The bed was uncomfortable. The water pressure was very low. The water was lukewarm. The room was cold and draughty. The blinds are tattered. The toilet cistern made a hissing noise every 2 minutes. It’s exactly as it was when I stayed here 20 years ago; in other words, not a penny has been spent on maintaining it or redecorating it.
