A nice affordable place close to Golden Ring + Very comfortable family room with well equipped kitchen ( thank you for the ketchup ;) Very peacefull neighbourhood with sheeps and rural area aound.

Bedrog − We werden door deze accommodatie belogen, bedrogen en bestolen. Ze beloven zwart op wit dat we een refund zullen krijgen, gezien de wegen afgesloten zijn door een storm, waarop wij een ander verblijf zoeken in de plaats waar we vast zitten met onze 2 kleine kinderen. Als de kinderen al sliepen (we zaten op dat moment 13 uur vast), kregen we bericht dat ze de refund weigerden, omdat volgens hen de wegen weer open waren. Volgens de officiële website was het echter te gevaarlijk voor de rest van de dag. Er was op dat moment een hevig onweer en geen elektriciteit, volgens de borden op de weg was niet de volledige route open... onmogelijk om de weg op te gaan... en slapende kinderen die al de ganse dag doodsbang waren geweest. Zo behandel je mensen niet, dit is bedrog!

+ Das Zimmer war sauber und es war auch geschmackvoll- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Fürs Frühstück war einiges bereitgestellt: Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, es gab Essig & Öl, Gewürze etc. Veronique ist sehr nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon letztes Jahr hier und haben uns auch diesmal wieder sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder ! − Nichts !

+ We really enjoyed our stay. The room is above a residence and the host was very nice and the neighborhood was super quiet. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed in the room. − We thought the location was great, though it is 15-20 minute drive off the main road, but it was a good central home base for exploring both the south coast and golden circle.

Overall, our stay was great and the host went above and beyond. + All of the amenities are included for a multi-night stay - full kitchenette with proper cookware & utensils. The heated towel rack was great! Some very nice touches from the owner: sleep masks, slippers, etc. Everyone had their own outlets beside their beds. If you are open to quite a long drive, there is a lot to see in the area. − No mirrors in the room which made it difficult for a communal bathroom.

Sehr gutes Vierbettzimmer + Vierbettzimmer, alles inkl. Küche in einem Raum, praktisch, auch das Schlafsofa war sehr bequem. Auf dem Esstisch in der Mitte des Raumes lässt es ich gut frühstücken. Schöne Lage, alle Straßen asphaltiert. − Nichts

+ We stayed here for three nights during our trip to the Landmannalaugar and the Thórsmörk valley. The place is clean and fully equipped with everything you need including a kitchenette in the bedroom. In this small village there is an excellent restaurant called The Barn Kitchen - it is not cheap but highly recommended!
